Chapter 2
See the disclaimer in the default chapter.
(Its daylight and you see Mac's car pull into a crummy motel parking lot. She gets out with a dazed and confused look on her face. Harm walks up decked out in his uniform.)
Harm: Mac I'm so sorry.
(he leans in and hugs her, but she still stands with her arms hanging by her side. Harm leads her into a room marked with a leaning 7. There on the floor is Clayton Webb with a pool of blood around his head. His hands are palmed and his eyes remain open till an officer closes them with his fingers. Mac gasps.)
Harm: We think he was killed because of the certain top secret agenda he was following. They said he was a mole, but that is all they would release to us.
Mac: (regaining somewhat of composure.) Did they find any evidence on who killed him.
Harm: None.
(She averts her eyes to a crumpled piece of paper on the floor. She walks around the body, past the bed and she leans down and stares. Harm follows and hands her a handkerchief to pick it up with. She refuses the gesture and pulls out leather gloves from her coat pocket and dons them, ultimately picking the crap up. She then carefully opens it up to find a message. It read: I do think it was time to dust away that old Webb and find you a new prince. He was such a weakling, a man of lying ambition and envy. Oh and I know you know who he envied. ~$$$)
Harm: Come on there's more.
(they walk out to Webb's rather new Mercedes. Harm opens the passenger door.)
Harm: Another crime.
(And there sits Webb's mother dead with a knife to the temple.)
Mac: Double murder.
(JAG)
(Harm and Mac walk together into the main room. Officers of all sorts stare at them and suddenly get quiet. Harm pulls Mac into his office.)
Harm: Mac your staying with me till this is over with.
Mac: Harm...
Harm: Don't harm me, the killer knows you and i'm afraid he knows you too well.
Mac: I'll be fi-
(Gunshots are heard and the glass in harms window shatter. He automatically pulls her down and covers her with his body. After it ends harm stands up and slowly crouches to the broken window. He looks out and there is a man running away from a high tree. But there are no guards following him. Harm turns and looks at Mac.)
