Luna was tired and lost. It was sweltering hot and she hadn't eaten in a while. Her white, tiger ears drooping, and her tail dragging behind her in this goddess-forbidden desert She was a tiger demon, full blooded and strong for her age. She appeared to be about eighteen years old, though by being a demon, you never really could tell.
She was about ready to give up, let heat and the starvation win when she saw a glint in the distance and she had to shield her eyes. She could barely make it out, the castle in the distance. This gave her hope, and she struggled onward. Once she got closer, she could see that it was huge. It seemed to be made entirely out of gold. No wonder it shone so much. The landscape around the castle was different, a sudden change. Instead of boiling sands, there was grass. Not just that either.
A sort of miniature lake stood a small distance from where she was and she rushed to it. She plunged her head underwater and drank from it greedily, stopping only to breathe. After several minutes, she lifted her head and let out a sigh. She let herself fall backwards on her back, her eyes closed.
"You know, you could come inside and have some real food with clean water."
Startled, Luna opened her eyes and looked up to see a young woman with long black hair and bright hazel eyes. By her side a younger girl clung to her side, she had short brown hair and was absolutely adorable. "I own this castle. Please, come in."
Luna stood, a little shaken that she didn't notice her, but all the same, she nodded and managed to say, "Thank you."
She followed her inside and she took her to the great hall where several people sat eating. One group that caught her eye was where a dog demon with silver hair sat next to a young boy with spiky blond hair and a metallic headband that had an odd symbol on it. They where both devouring ramen incredibly fast and another bowl was still on the table. They both finished their own bowl at the same time and grabbed for the last bowl. The blonde used his free hand to poke the dog demon with his chopsticks, and the dog demon hit the blonde on the head, leaving a bump. They started arguing, and while the were distracted, a man in his late twenties strolled by, stealing the bowl of ramen in the process, singing, "My ramen, my ramen, all for me, my ramen." Very bemused but still eager to eat, Luna seated herself at a table and the lady brought her a plate of sushi. "I hope you like it," she smiled. "My name is Terra. This girl beside me," the one with the short hair still clinging to her dress, "is Kisa." Luna was ravishing and she suddenly noticed she was behaving the same way as those two boys. "Please excuse me," she said after swallowing her mouthful. "My name is Luna. I'm afraid I'm lost." Terra nodded. "That's alright. Hopefully I can help you get on your way again." Suddenly a woman with very long, white hair and wearing very revealing clothes jumped on the table Luna was sitting at. Her foxtail stood upright, her ears bent back. This woman was obviously mad. "Where is she?" she screamed. "Where is that bastard, Kagome!"
