Hey, I wrote this poem for lit. (after we watched the move) and really liked it. Its in Neil's POV. This takes place toward the end when his dad is telling him he is going to military school then Neil says What about what I feel? Yeah that part. So enjoy, and by the way, I love reviews! *wink*

All the things that I feel,
the things I have wanted to scream.
Falter and die under your gaze.

I think nothing now,
nothing that will ever matter,
to you,
your plans.

Under that gaze all of my passions,
my happiness.
It all falls away from me.
Nothing I feel matters.

I have failed you,
I can not be all that you want me to be.

If I do this
will you notice?
Or will it just be another way
I have disappointed you?
