Sherkoni - This is just a cute little rhyme poem I made about Inuyasha and Kagome! Please read, and review telling me if you liked it! (I don't own Inuyasha or the sweet, twisted love affairs!)
The Most Challenging Obstacle
It's on the 10th of June, before the early sun has risen;
I slowly open up my eyes, and make this one decision-
Today I face my fear, today I face it all,
Today I am determined to never take the fall.
I'm out of bed, I'm on my feet, my senses on alert;
My perspiration's soaking my skin upon my shirt.
My enemy is waking, so quickly I approach,
To finally overpower their sauntering reproach.
I slink around the corner, and though I try with all my might-
I couldn't help but cower, and turn away in fright.
Their mighty mane of silky black is whipping in the wind,
It's hungry chocolate eyes - displaying playful grins.
I stagger only once, before I face them once again,
I had to stop this madness; this torture had to end!
They almost seem to mock me, as they slowly tilt their head,
And curiously ask me, Why am I not in bed?
My heart catches in my throat, but I'm determined not to fail,
This sentimental decoy, I actually know quite well.
It does this often, pure and sweet, to capture my attention,
Never guessing, never caring, that I might hold rejection.
But I grit my teeth and set my jaw - today has to be the day!
When I finally overcome my fear and send terror on it's way!
I take the beast's slender hands and hold them in my own,
I gasp, never in my life have my hands been locked in stone...
I look into it's chestnut eyes and take destitution by the horns,
This time they shall not win, the tables have finally turned.
The lightning strikes, the thunder rages, I'm almost at the peak,
The peak of resolution where they'll have to claim defeat!
I bore my gaze into their own, homely, brave and lonely,
And then finally, I say the words,
"I love you Kagome."
