I Cannot Forget You...

No matter how many times I tell myself that you're gone,
I still feel your presence here,
No matter how many times I tell myself that you're suffering has stopped,
I still cry so many tears.

When you where scared, I'd hold you close and say everything okay,
When you where scared I'd fight away all of your fears
When you where lost, I'd help you find your way back home,
But now, I'm trying to figure out what to do after all of those years.

There's just too much that time cannot erase,
I remember your smiling face,
I still remember that messy red hair and those deep violet eyes,
I still remember that scar and all of those deep worry lines.
