I'm not good at writing stories and this is my first fan fic one, but I'm
on break so now's the time to start. Only the first chapter makes it seem
like it sould be on fictionpress, but the rest will of the chapters are for
fan fic. This is book/videogame related, but I'd rather it be videogames,
even though it is really more like inkheart. PLEASE review. Thanks.
My name is Max. I am a teenage boy who over eats but is not unhealthy, even though not the thinnest. I looked outside to see dense clouds and a darkened sky and some rain drops starting to fall. I smiled. If you were wondering why I was smiling, it was because with a gloomy day outside I could test any videogame all day without having to go outside. By test I mean test newly created videogames. I walked to the den and picked up the controller.
As soon as I picked up the controller, I had an urge to just drop it and read a book. But I fought the urge to leave and inserted the compact disk into the game cube. When the Unfolding cube became a G, it was backwards. Weird, I thought, I never saw this glitch before. But I put the issue to the back of my mind. It was just a glitch, after all.
Then the game screen appeared in big yellow letters Elecheart like usual and two playing choices appeared. One was regular mode, which I beat only yesterday with no flaws in its system. Now I was trying Overload mode, which was hard mode. As soon as I selected it, a bolt of lightning struck the house and all of the power went out. Except for the television. It glowed with a greenish light for a few seconds and vanished.
When I checked the controller, nothing other the controller, for it had short circuited, was damaged. So I decided not to test the game and just read a book.
I was reading the book for a while when I was summoned by my mother. She told me to go outside because the rain had stopped.
"But it's still dark and gloomy!" I yelled at her.
She replied, "But it's not raining, so you should go outside." I sighed and realized there wasn't even a point in arguing and went outside. When I looked outside the first thing that I noticed was that the swing set had changed and that the type of local tree had changed. When I walked down the street I saw missing objects, objects that were never seen before, and even a large white emerald was found on top of a tree.
I took the emerald and looked at it and somehow realized the chaos that would reign over the land. I ran home and glimpsed a few human sized hedgehogs and realized that chaos would reign. But I was the only one who had any idea what was happening. MUST GET HOME! I thought as I ran down the street toward my house. When I got home I ran into the den and looked at the television. I saw to my horror that under overload mode that my little brother had decided to play.
A little cliffhangerish and confusing, but u will understand when u read the next chapter... probably.
