"Yea, I still miss him." Wendy let out a sigh then smiled shakily at her
younger brother. "But there are worse things than could have happened."
"Why don't you return to Neverland? We know that you would miss us but we understand that he is the one that you love more than life itself." John reasoned. At age 91/2, he was wise beyond his years. Wendy looked at her brother as if he was crazy. "What would mother say? Besides, to get to Neverland, you have to fly, and the Fairy Dust worn off on New Years Morning. Remember?"
"Yea, I remember. However, Peter said that if a child runs away and is not claimed in seven days, that the child is taken to Neverland. Do you remember?" John countered. He had Wendy there.
Now John was not trying to get rid of Wendy. In fact, he wanted his sister to stay more than anything. However, he wanted to see his sister laugh again. Which she hadn't done since she left Peter.
Then the door opened and Slightly walked in. He was once a Lost Boy, until their Aunt took him in.
