Confusions of the Past
Chapter 1
The Dream
The screams, the tears, the yells... warriors were suppressing the citizens towards the Nile of Amanuet, the fire was eating up the fields, workers hurriedly trying to conceal it. Blood was everywhere, the children's tears were bringing sadness to the Pharaoh's older sister's heart, Asenath, and she clutched the hand of a 4-year-old girl.
"Sanura, stay here while we look for your father." Asenath told her as she handed her to Hasima, while she and her and her brother's friends looked for the Pharaoh...
A young man, probably seventeen, was lying on his side beside the Oak of Afretitis, already dead, it seems as if no one was there for him, as if his whole family was dead, blood oozed from his arm and face with the pieces of the Sennen Puzzle beside him and a beautiful white flower with long pointed petals, with a pinkish/ yellowish center near his heart........... Symbolizing that someone was really there for him.
This grand city of the Nile was falling apart. This city, ruled by the great Pharaoh, for two years, unknowing that their beloved Pharaoh had suddenly died, or unless they thought so, a 4-year-old princess, the pharaoh's daughter, felt her father's death.
Jono, Trima, Bakura, Asenath and Teanna were still looking for the Pharaoh until they spotted him under the cliff, Asenath and Teanna gasped, the fire was closing up on him, Asenath burst into tears, Teanna made a move forward but was stopped by Trima and Jono she struggled but stop as she saw a young maiden probably 14 ran out of the temple, her long pure black hair blowing in the wind and shining in the sun.
She was wearing white and blue with gold linings, she ran towards him and knelt at his side, she flipped him on his back and used the blue silk shawl to wipe the blood from his face, she used her index finger to lift up his chin and gently kissed him. She hugged him close to her heart and the officials gasped as a tear of blood pour down her cheek, she was only an apparition, a spirit, the dark flames were making there way closer when a girl's voice was heard "Father! Mother!" Teanna spun around. They all blinked, when they looked back they both disappeared.

In a flash of lightning Mazaki Anzu awoke "Itai!!! That really hurts!" she had just banged Head in the Headboard.
She pushed the covers around her and walked around her room thinking of the dream she just had when she noticed that the wind was blowing for the window was open.... Then she saw the picture of the Sennen Puzzle in the darkness of her mind, when she finally found out....(

"How can you be sure it's from Mou Hitori no Yugi's past?" asked Ryou, "Well I have this sort of feeling that it's from his past, guys." Anzu told her friends, "Well you're not that sure Anzu" Assured Honda, "Umm... guys...." Yugi began What's up Yugi?" asked Jonounchi "Well, when I woke up I found Mou Hitori no boku was out of bed and he was kind of acting strangely." Yugi told his friends, "Maybe we should ask Isis about this." Honda said ( ---________**________---
"Hey Maho-san" the 17-year old kids greeted Ishizu Ishtar's co-worker. "Hey!!!" Maho called at them "Isis is waiting for you guys."
They walked through the Hall up until the end of the corridor of Isis' office and Isis was sitting on her chair in front of her desk. Typing her new researches.
"Isis-san" Isis looked up "Oh! Thanks Maho, so what brings you hear?" she asked timidly
"Well... Anzu had a dream last night and she reckons it's from Mou Hitori no Yugi's past" Bakura told her and they began to tell Her everything "you...." But she never finished her sentence since her younger brother Malik was there, holding tablets with hieroglyphics "Nisan the scriptures you asked for are here " he said out of boredom.
"Oh Hello" he greeted them "Hey!!" Anzu, Ryou, Yugi greeted, Honda and Jonounchi merely grunted and Anzu got a glimpse of the picture in the scroll when she exclaimed "Hey! That's the girl in my dreams!!"
Malik took out the scroll and looked at the girl in the picture, his eyes widening. Isis looked at him curiously as he passed the scroll to her. She looked at the picture as well and stared at Anzu loss for words....
