Chapter 5
Crimson Tears
'Where in the name of Osiris did you place it Malik?' Isis cursed as she rummaged through the bookshelves.
'I know I placed it here somewhere.' Malik replied angrily looking through old boxes containing Ancient Egyptian Artifacts.
Anzu was looking for the scroll of the ancient mystery of Yami and Hikari's past 'Uhhh! Are you sure it's here Malik?'
Honda and Jonounchi were opening drawers of Isis' desk while Yugi do Malik's. Suddenly someone knocked on the door and went in. A girl probably 17 went inside. She had long, pure black hair and bluish silver eyes wearing a white shirt and a blue long skirt and dangling from her neck was a golden chained locket shaped from a heart and rubies engraved on the precious metal.
'Oh! Hitomi!' Isis said, Yugi blushed and Hitomi said 'Hi Isis! Malik you left these Ancient scrolls on my apartment when you and Isis went to visit.' Hitomi said sweat dropping when Honda, Jonounchi, Anzu and Isis shot Malik a glare.
'Thanks Hitomi.' Malik said cautiously ready to duck when Jonounchi and Honda attack. Hitomi left the room but stopped and said 'Bye guys! Bye Yugi!'
'Here' Malik said. Isis rummaged through the old pages of the scrolls. 'There's nothing much to say here.' Isis said looking up 'It only says that the one who was responsible for the Royal Family's death was a thief named Yazid.'
'THAT'S IT?!' Jonounchi and Honda yelled. Isis looked up, probably stunned. Malik looked curious so he took a closer look and his eyes widening in shock.
'Guys' Malik said, 'We made a mistake....' "What mistake?" asked Anzu. 'Remember when we told you that there was only 7 Sennen Items?' asked Isis
'During the end of the Battle City Finals?' asked Yugi. 'Yeah...' 'There are actually 8 of them.' Malik said 'That's why when Bakura placed all seven Sennen Items, It didn't open the portal of the Dark World because.......'
'Because...' They all asked excluding Isis 'Because of what?' 'Because the Sennen Puzzle was incomplete.' Isis said, Malik nodded. 'Incomplete?' Yugi asked 'But I solved it two years ago!'
Malik showed them a picture. A picture of a gold chain and dangling from it was a crystal and rubies and a symbol of the Eye of Horus was engraved on the precious metal.
At the same time a wail was heard. Somebody was crying, Yugi, Ryou and Malik felt a strong wave of the powers of mixed shadows and light.
The Sennen Rod and Ring shown a bright light and immediately Bakura and Marik appeared before them beside their hikaris.
Bakura and Marik was staring out the door. The Sennen Items glowed and they saw the darkness. They ran after the voice followed closely by the others.
They followed the crying voice up to the roof, where Bakura and Marik stopped; particularly stunned.
In the dark corner of the rooftop. A girl, probably fourteen, was crying in the shadows. Her long pure black hair was covering her face and she was wearing a white robe with golden linings and a blue skirt.
'Hitomi?' Yugi asked. The girl looked up and her luminous bluish silver and gold eyes looked at Yugi to Bakura to Marik and finally to the Sennen Puzzle. The girl let a hand to reach and whispered that only Yugi could hear 'Yami......' All of them were shocked as crimson tear pour down from her eyes.
