Everything changes chapter 2
Elizabeth was once again sitting on her couch in the studio. She realized she should get up. She was trying to figure out what to do but had no idea what she was gonna do next. Was there away to fix this horrible mess she has made of her life? She could figure out how to even start so she just sat.
A few hours later she was startled by a knock on the door. She got up and went over to unlock it, then opened it. She was amazed to find Ric waiting on the otherside. Not knowing exactly what to do she simply moved aside so Ric could enter. He walked in and she closed the door behind him. She looked over at him biting her lip her eye full of tears.
Ric saw how upset she was she looked like she was waiting for him to hit her or something and it broke his heart. He opened his arms reaching toward her and with his voice breaking with emotion he said, "I love you baby. Please come here."
Elizabeth saw his eyes filling with tears and started crying all over again as she ran to him. He wrapped his arms around her and whispered in her ear. "I forgive you Elizabeth and I am so very sorry that I hurt you this morning please forgive me."
Elizabeth started to cry even harder and clutched tight to him. "I thought you were gone forever, that you would never love me anymore. "She said in a very small voice.
Rick moved backwards and caught Elizabeth's chin in his hand gently pulling her face up to look him in the eyes. "Elizabeth I will love you forever." He said his voice sounding certain. "Let's go sit down we really need to talk." He took her hand and they walked to the couch.
Ric saw that the muffins were still on the coffee table. "Elizabeth, You didn't eat you muffin. "He said.
Elizabeth looked up at him and simply said, "I couldn't."
Ric sat down next to her and asked, "Sweetie when was the last time you ate anything?"
Elizabeth took a couple of minutes as she thought back over the last few days and finally answered, "Friday morning I think.... I know it was before I went to the hospital to see Emily."
Ric realized it was Monday evening. Very concerned but trying not to upset her Ric smiled at Elizabeth and handed her a muffin saying," That's been to long. Your gonna get sick Why don't you eat your muffin while we talk. Ok!"
Elizabeth took the muffin and said,"Ok!" as she started eating it.
Ric sat down and took a calming breath. In a very gentle voice Ric said," Now why don't you tell what happened why you were so upset when I got her Sunday night."
Elizabeth looked over at Ric her eyes so sad and tired. "I was upset with myself. I hated what I did, the fact I had sex with Jason. I whored myself out." she said in a voice as sad and tired as her eyes.

Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out Elizabeth wedding rings holding then up he said, "Will you be my wife again?"
Elizabeth smiled reaching up and taking the rings from Ric she said " Yes."
Picking her up and standing her in front of him Ric said,"Great now do me a favor! Go get dressed and get a few thing together we are leaving. "
"Why? "Elizabeth asked a little concerned.
"Well since we missed out on our honeymoon I got us a suite at the PC hotel. I know we can't go back to the old house and I don't even want to and white this couch is great I want to sleep with you in a proper bed. We will get room service and curl up in a real bed. If that's alright with my wife" Ric said teasing her.
Elizabeth kissed him on the cheek said I would love that as she walked to her closet to get dressed.
Ric and Elizabeth were led into a suite at the PC hotel by a very nice Bellman who smiled as he put down their bags. After being informed that The Lansing's needed nothing else and receiving a generous tip he left.
"I'll be right back Ric said with as smile as he picked up the bags and carried them into the bedroom.
The Livingroom was beautiful with furniture in muted shades of blue and brown and a large sliding glass door that lead out to the balcony. Elizabeth walked over to look out the door and stood watching the snowfall.
Walking back into the Living room Ric smiled as he watched Elizabeth looking out the sliding glass door. He was happy that she looked so peaceful. He walked up behind her putting his arms around her to hold her closed and buried his face in her hair. "You are very quiet Sweetheart. What are you thinking," he asked.
Leaning back against Ric and giggling Elizabeth said," I was just watching the snowfall. It's so beautiful."
"Yes it is. When I was in South America one of the things I really missed was snow. " Ric answered while he started kissing Elizabeth's neck making her giggle even more.
Elizabeth took a step away and turned around to talk to Ric. "Want to know a silly secret?" trying to be serious but cracking up
Ric smiled at her excitement and with a very serious face he said of course Elizabeth.
His serious tone made Elizabeth giggle even more. 'Ok she said I was standing outside of Kelly's last winter and we had an early snow. The snow was just starting and an older woman walked by and said I should make a wish on the first snow fall so I did.
Ric could picture the scene in his mind. "What did you wish for? "he asked.
"I asked for Happiness, and it worked," she said laughing at the look on Ric's face at her announcement.
"Sweetheart, It has been a real hard year on you because of me. Why would you say that? "Ric asked Puzzled at her announcement.
Elizabeth stepped close to Ric putting her arms around his neck and pulling him until her lips were only inches from his. 'A few days later I met you," she whispered before she kissed Ric.
Ric pulled her even closer running one armed down around the small of her back and putting his other hand into her hair the kiss became deeper and deeper. Elizabeth could hear him making small moans in his throat and found that she was doing the same.
There was a knock at the door and Elizabeth and Ric separated reluctantly. "Who is that?" Elizabeth asked.
Ric took a deep breath. "Its room service. I hope it's Ok that I just went ahead and ordered some dinner for us. You really need to eat." He said as he walked over and opened the door.
The room service cart was brought in. Elizabeth and Ric sat down to seat their chef salads drinking a large amount of white wine and sharing a slice of apple pie.
During dinner Elizabeth had yawned several times. She was looking so tired. Ric smiled as he refilled their wineglasses. 'Elizabeth, Sweetheart you seem so tired. "
Elizabeth smiled, took a another sip of her wine and said, "I am but I want to spend time with you...Ric is have really just missed us being us."
Ric walked around the table and pulled out her chair. "I have missed us to Elizabeth more than you will ever understand." He said as he helped her up and pulled her into his arms for a kiss. He pulled back and was standing with there foreheads touching. "Why don't you get ready for bed. I have to check my messages from Work. I will be in a few minutes to join you."
Elizabeth kissed him again. Then she said, "Ok, don't be to long." I will be waiting.
Elizabeth went into the bedroom and went into her bag to get her nightgown but then smiled to herself. She walked over to Ric's bag and decided to borrow his baby blue dress shirt. After a quick shower she peeked out the door. She could hear Ric arguing with Scott Baldwin on the phone. She smiled to herself and went over to the bed turn down the covers. The she lay down to wait for Ric.
A few minutes later after arguing with Scott about the case pending with Sonny Ric walked into the bedroom. Looking around the room he finally Looked towards the bed and smiled when he saw Elizabeth. The most beautiful woman in the world was laying on the bed in one of his dress shirts. She was sleeping so sweetly. Her beautiful hair fanning out on the pillow and her sexy long legs bare. He wanted her so badly but he also knew that Elizabeth was simply exhausted. She had reached her limit both emotionally and physically. For the first time in along time he realized that he finally had her love back in his life. He knew she would still be there in the morning.
Ric went into the bathroom to take a shower. He came back out drying his hair dressed in his black boxers. Elizabeth was still sleeping so he walked to her side of the bed to turn off the light. He walked around to the other side and climbed in next to Elizabeth pulling the covers over them. Even sleeping Elizabeth snuggled back into him. Smiling he wrapped his arms around his sleeping wife. He whispered, "I love you." and drifted off to sleep.
After the most peaceful nights sleep Ric could remember in a long time. Ric woke to find Elizabeth's head on his shoulder with the rest of her body snuggled up to his left side. He eased out of bed quietly not wanting to wake her until she was ready. He pulled on one of the white terry cloth robes he slipped out of the bedroom.
He ordered Room service Coffee Orange juice and muffins because he figured they would hold until Elizabeth woke up. Then he went over to the desk and set up his laptop.
When the coffee arrived Ric poured himself a cup. He walked over to the desk a started reading the morning paper when his cell phone started ringing.
Elizabeth woke slowly as she reached across the bed looking for Ric and was sad to find the bed empty. The she could hear his muted voice through the door. Getting up to Listen she realized he was on his cell phone yelling at someone.
Elizabeth opened the bedroom door quietly and sneaked up behind Ric. She realized he was talking to Sonny and Knowing it would do no good she unbuttoned the light blue dress shirt and let it slip to the floor. Now naked she cleared her throat and smiled.
Ric didn't hear Elizabeth he was to busy arguing with Sonny. Sonny was angry that Ric had upset Courtney the day before in the park and was demanding answers. Ric was in turn yelling into the cell phone." Ask Jason!" when suddenly the cell phone was snatched out of his hand.
Elizabeth had cleared her throat again but still hadn't gotten Ric's attention. So she took matters into her own hands and snatched the cell phone out of Ric's hand and took a few quick steps back so she was out of easy reach.
Ric spun around in the desk chair still angry from his talk with Sonny. But before he could speak he was shocked into silence by the amazing site of his wife standing in front of him. She was holding his cell phone and wearing nothing but a sexy smile. She held the cell phone up to her ear and could hear Sonny still yelling. Speaking into it she said Sonny I am sorry but my husbands has much more important things to do than listen to you rant. If you want to know what happened as he has said numerous times Asked Jason!" with that comment she turned his cell phone off.
Elizabeth saw the look on Ric's face when he first turned around and then she watched the angry look quickly fade as it was replaced with desire. Elizabeth smiled, took a another sip of her wine and said, "I am but I want to spend time with you...Ric is have really just missed us being us."
Ric walked around the table and pulled out her chair. "I have missed us to Elizabeth more than you will ever understand." He said as he helped her up and pulled her into his arms for a kiss. He pulled back and was standing with there foreheads touching. "Why don't you get ready for bed. I have to check my messages from Work. I will be in a few minutes to join you."
Elizabeth kissed him again. Then she said, "Ok, don't be to long." I will be waiting.
Elizabeth went into the bedroom and went into her bag to get her nightgown but then smiled to herself. She walked over to Ric's bag and decided to borrow his baby blue dress shirt. After a quick shower she peeked out the door. She could hear Ric arguing with Scott Baldwin on the phone. She smiled to herself and went over to the bed turn down the covers. The she lay down to wait for Ric.
A few minutes later after arguing with Scott about the case pending with Sonny Ric walked into the bedroom. Looking around the room he finally Looked towards the bed and smiled when he saw Elizabeth. The most beautiful woman in the world was laying on the bed in one of his dress shirts. She was sleeping so sweetly. Her beautiful hair fanning out on the pillow and her sexy long legs bare. He wanted her so badly but he also knew that Elizabeth was simply exhausted. She had reached her limit both emotionally and physically. For the first time in along time he realized that he finally had her love back in his life. He knew she would still be there in the morning.
Ric went into the bathroom to take a shower. He came back out drying his hair dressed in his black boxers. Elizabeth was still sleeping so he walked to her side of the bed to turn off the light. He walked around to the other side and climbed in next to Elizabeth pulling the covers over them. Even sleeping Elizabeth snuggled back into him. Smiling he wrapped his arms around his sleeping wife. He whispered, "I love you." and drifted off to sleep.
After the most peaceful nights sleep Ric could remember in a long time. Ric woke to find Elizabeth's head on his shoulder with the rest of her body snuggled up to his left side. He eased out of bed quietly not wanting to wake her until she was ready. He pulled on one of the white terry cloth robes he slipped out of the bedroom.
He ordered Room service Coffee Orange juice and muffins because he figured they would hold until Elizabeth woke up. Then he went over to the desk and set up his laptop.
When the coffee arrived Ric poured himself a cup. He walked over to the desk a started reading the morning paper when his cell phone started ringing.
Elizabeth woke slowly as she reached across the bed looking for Ric and was sad to find the bed empty. The she could hear his muted voice through the door. Getting up to Listen she realized he was on his cell phone yelling at someone.
Elizabeth opened the bedroom door quietly and sneaked up behind Ric. She realized he was talking to Sonny and Knowing it would do no good she unbuttoned the light blue dress shirt and let it slip to the floor. Now naked she cleared her throat and smiled.
Ric didn't hear Elizabeth he was to busy arguing with Sonny. Sonny was angry that Ric had upset Courtney the day before in the park and was demanding answers. Ric was in turn yelling into the cell phone." Ask Jason!" when suddenly the cell phone was snatched out of his hand.
Elizabeth had cleared her throat again but still hadn't gotten Ric's attention. So she took matters into her own hands and snatched the cell phone out of Ric's hand and took a few quick steps back so she was out of easy reach.
Ric spun around in the desk chair still angry from his talk with Sonny. But before he could speak he was shocked into silence by the amazing site of his wife standing in front of him. She was holding his cell phone and wearing nothing but a sexy smile. She held the cell phone up to her ear and could hear Sonny still yelling. Speaking into it she said Sonny I am sorry but my husbands has much more important things to do than listen to you rant. If you want to know what happened as he has said numerous times Asked Jason!" with that comment she turned his cell phone off.
Elizabeth saw the look on Ric's face when he first turned around and then she watched the angry look quickly fade as it was replaced with desire. "Mr. Lansing, you promised me your time and attention. You are not getting this phone back until I get some," she said as she started laughing and then runaway to hide behind the couch.
Ric Grinned with a very devilish grin and said "Oh baby your gonna get some." He hopped up and took off the robe and started chasing her round and round the couch as they both laughed. Ric Laughed as he quickly pulled off his boxers and joined his Wife on the bed. He lay beside her on his side and kissed her.
