Disclaimer thing: I don't own LotR, Knights of the Old Republic, or Wheel
of Time. They all belong to the peoples who made them. Except the name
Pansy Monkey Man. That is sooooooooooo mine.

I suppose it would help to explain what RPG's are, wouldn't it? I'm not sure if the different levels are just something my friends and I use, or are actually from something. Anyway, an RPG is a role-playing game. It's pretty much where you create a character and stuff happens to them. Little kids do this a lot. A level 1 RPG is pen and paper characters, such as Dungeons & Dragons. A level 2 is freeform, where you just play through it as if you're telling a story. And a Level 3 is where you actually run around and act out what your character is doing.
A Sly Fan: Yes, yes he will
Frodo and Sam were crouching in the dark at the bottom of the cliff. They knew Gollum had been following them, and they were waiting for him to make his move.
"Mr. Frodo," Sam whispered, "I think there's voices' coming from the top of the cliff."
"I know Sam, I heard them too. It must be Gollum." Frodo whispered back.
Before either of them could say anything else they saw shapes moving in the darkness around them. Shadowy figures moved towards their camp. Frodo expected to feel the familiar heart gripping fear that came from a close encounter with a wraith, but he felt nothing. As they drew closer he pulled out Sting and waved it at them.
"Who are you?" He yelled.
One of the figures stepped forward. "No need to be so bloody unfriendly. People these days." It grumbled.
The two hobbits glanced at each other. "State you names."
"I'm Seb, that's Cam, and she's Emma." The first figure spoke again. And he said their names the other two gave little waves at the hobbits.
"Oh, uh.... Why are you here?" Sam asked.
"Well you see," Emma started, "that's a bit of a long story."
"And a rather boring one as well." Cam spoke up.
Frodo and Sam looked at each other and shrugged. "Where are you going?"
Seb glanced at the other two before speaking. "Well actually we were thinking we might find the ring bearer and aid him in his mighty quest." He threw up a hand. "We're friends of Estel. Or Aragorn."
"They know Strider!" Sam said enthusiastically. "How are he and the rest of the Fellowship getting along?"
"Well, Boromir's dead, Gimli, Legolas, and Aragorn are off trying to rescue Merry and Pippin from the Uruk-Hai, and Gandalf is about to come back to life." Emma said, ticking the names off on her fingers as she went. "Oh yeah, and they're all in Rohan and Eowyn is hitting on Aragorn."
Blank stares lit the hobbit's faces. They were nodding as if they understood, but all of that was a little bit over their heads.
"And Gollum is behind you." Cam said matter of factly.
As he spoke the creature jumped onto Frodo's back, screaming something unintelligible about the precious. The three kids immediately joined the fight, and due to the deal they had made they 'overpowered' Gollum easily.
Frodo drew sting and held it to Gollum's throat. "This is Sting, you've seen it before haven't you, Sméagol."
Gollum reluctantly did as he had agreed to. "Yes that was my name once."
"Shouldn't you be tying him up now?" Cam said to Sam.
"Oh, right." Sam grabbed some of the elven rope and tied it around Gollum's neck. "That'll hold you."
The Next Day
"Take is off usss. It burnses it does. Nasty elveses made it." Gollum screamed.
"Oh just swear an oath to Frodo already." Seb muttered at him.
"We swears to be god, we does. Just take it off usss." Frodo and Sam exchanged glances.
"Meh, just trust him already." Emma muttered. "I mean, really, there's five of us and one of him. And he's not really that bad." They all looked at her strangely. "What?"
After Gollum swearing his oath to Frodo the day went by quickly with Gollum leading them through the treacherous passes of Emyn Muil.
They finally made camp at dusk, Frodo and Sam spreading their cloaks on the ground and the kids making due with their jackets.
Frodo and Sam agreed to take second watch and the kids made their way off to the side, followed by Gollum.
"What is the plan they has precious?" Gollum hissed at them.
"Well, the real annoyingness starts tomorrow. For now we just sit. We figured it was easier to just get that out of the way first." Emma said. "But now I think we want to show you how to use one of these." She pulled out a cap gun.
Gollum's eyes brightened. Seb spoke up next. "They're deadly weapons. If you point it at someone and shoot it's as if you shot an arrow into them at point blank range." Better to have him think they had actual weapons.
They took out the caps and showed Gollum how one worked, and then Emma put them back into her bag. "Cap guns are only to be used in extreme emergencies." She stated.
They all nodded, reluctantly, but they did agree. They crept back to the camp quietly before Frodo and Sam even noticed they were gone.
The Day After That
The first sensation Frodo felt that morning was something being jabbed into his shoulder. He groaned and opened his eyes to see the girl standing over him, poking his shoulder. It suddenly occurred to him that he was traveling with a girl.
"You're a girl!" He burst out.
"Ok....." She looked confused. "Anyway, time to get up sleepy head!"
The hobbit groaned again and stood. Sam was being poked by Cam. "Why are you with us? Women aren't supposed to go on dangerous journeys."
She shrugged. "Dunno. I felt like it." She pointed at Seb and Cam. "And if I feel like doing something they can't really stop me."
Frodo considered this for a moment. "All right. Well then, we should get moving."
They all packed up their bags and started walking Gollum in front. Before they had walked a mile Frodo felt something poke him and a voice mutter, "Fodere."
He blinked and turned to see Seb standing there with an innocent look on his face. "We should really be moving." He said, but when Frodo turned the same thing happened.
For the next hour whenever Frodo or Sam had their backs to any of the kids they found themselves being poked relentlessly. And always they muttered that strange word. At last Frodo got fed up and spun around.
"Why are you doing this!?!?!?!?!" He almost yelled.
"Doing what?" three voices answered in unison. Frodo gave up and turned, only to be poked again.
"ARRRRRRRGGGGGGH." He growled. But on turning they still gave him the innocent looks. "Fine. Sam, come here for a second."
The hobbits walked together after that, jumping every time one of the kids came near them. Not daring to speak they found themselves listening to the conversation the kids were having.
"So, wait. Are you saying that you think the Pansy Monkey Man, Saul Karath, from Knights of the Old Republic, is capable of defeating Rand al'Thor?" Emma was asking.
"Well it's really a matter of battleground, don't you think? If Rand was on a planet, and the Pansy Monkey Man was with his fleet, then duh he would win." Seb answered.
Cam had been silent throughout what Frodo and Sam had heard. "But if it was a duel he would probably still win, I mean, he's got a couple of gun and medpacks and stuff. I suppose if Rand used balefire before he could shoot him, but it's more likely Saul would win."
The conversation went on in much the same way. Frodo and Sam looked at one another. "Are you beginning to regret taking them along too?" Frodo asked. Sam nodded wordlessly, and the hobbits went on listening to the...odd....conversation....thing...
Another A/N Isn't it weird when authors put an author's note at the bottom and the top? In case you didn't recognize the stuff mentioned in the odd conversation thing Ran al'Thor is one of the main characters in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. Very good books, so long as you can handle lots of confusing names and politics stuff. KotOR is answerable for itself.
Oh yeah, and Fodere is the Latin word meaning 'to poke or prod'.
