Chapter 2 Reinforcements
As Sun Ce tried to move as swiftly as possible towards Cao Cao's castle, he wondered upon a Yuan Shu's encampment. At that very moment, Sun Ce had an idea…
"My lord Yuan Shu, an officer by the name of Sun Ce has come to see you."
"Bring him in."
"At once my lord."
Yuan Shu puzzled over what business the Sun family would want with him. To ally? To go at war? He would soon find out.
"My lord Yuan Shu. I have come with a proposition to make."
"A proposition? Of what kind?'
"I am prepared to give you something beyond value of what you have ever known. It is the great Imperial Seal. But In exchange, I request your aid in battle."
The Imperial Seal! Yuan Shu thought to himself. This was an offer he could not refuse. But why would Sun Ce hand over the Imperial Seal so willingly? He thought.
"The Imperial Seal in exchange for reinforcements. Very well, I accept. But of how many troops will you need my lord Sun Ce?"
"1000 should be enough. If that is possible."
"Of course, anything for a man of your stature."
At that moment, Sun Ce and Yuan Shu prepared to head out for battle. But what of the main camp? Will Yuan Shu and Sun Ce make it in time? If so, will they be enough? The fate of these heroes will be decided in this one battle.
Sorry about the long wait and short update but, I cant really think of any way to write. This is actually my first ever story. So if anyone could give some reviews, tell what they liked and/or didn't like, I would really appreciate it.
