CHAPTER VII
SECRET ORGINS: PART III
"Why do I always have a knack for chasing Rodians?" though Voren Fett. Voren was right, for 95% of the bounties he had captured were Rodian. After his encounter with Boba Fett, Voren had decided to become just like Boba Fett, so that he may one day confess to Voren that he is his father. Voren had tuned from a gladiator to a bounty hunter, and even went to a blacksmith to make Mandalorian-like armor. The armor was black with brown on the chest plate, helmet, and boots. It was sort of a mix between the swoop biker armor and the Mandalorian armor, for he was a swoop biker on Tatooine before he was a gladiator in Rattak. He was a bounty hunter of little fame, but he hoped that his fame would increase once he got a big score, which was not the Rodian.
The Rodian chase was like every other chase Voren had been in- it was in a dark ally, with an unarmed Rodian, and the Rodian stopped at a dead end. No injury, no adrenaline rushes- just bounties.
"Aren't you supposed to say 'please don't kill me' now?" asked Voren.
"Maybe I am", mocked the Rodian. "Maybe I'm not". He then touched a button on his utility belt, and the world went black for Voren. A second later, he was on the bridge of a starship. It was the largest bridge he had ever seen, and also the most ornate. Hundreds of workers worked at the controls, which were all shaped like evil things from your nightmares.
"Boss wants to see him", said the Rodian. Two men with white, futuristic armor then carried Voren to the center of the ship, where a huge, twisted throne stood in the middle.
"I have been looking for you", said a sinister voice. The throne then around to reveal a tattooed Zabrak wearing dark black robes. "A very long time".
"WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH ME?!?" yelled Voren.
"Just some of your time", said the Zabrak. "Call me boss- you can only call me by my real name if you prove yourself worthy."
"Where am I?" asked Voren.
"You are five hundred years in the future", said the Zabrak. "Well, at least for you".
"THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!" yelled Voren.
"It may seem so", said the Zabrak. "But believe me, it's not. My agency is one of time. We go around, mending wounds to the timeline and punishing the ones that hurt it. But lately, the government has become corrupt and I need to bring it down. I have been looking at you, from the day of your disappointment at Rattak. I feel for you, Voren. You had a very hard life, and it just got harder. Why don't you join me, and help me out on a special kin of mission?"
"What kind of a mission?" questioned Voren.
"Let's just say a 'timely' mission", said the Zabrak. "But first, you must follow Z'Keeba, who I think you already know". Voren then turned around and saw the Rodian.
"Come", said the Rodian. "I'll be your 'tour guide'". Voren didn't know whether to go or not too. He didn't trust any of them one bit, but the offer sounded delicious enough.
"If I become that important in this agency", thought Voren. "I might get to meet Boba Fett again". He then followed the Rodian, where he would meet his ultimate destiny.
