Dib sat in his room. Thoughts of him arisen again. Now that he was gone
what was there to do. Was is possible that the fact that they were worst
enemies actually made them best friends? Perhaps their want to kill each
other gave them some sort of relationship... like they always wanted to but
they never would because if they did they'd have no one to bitch at. What
was he thinking? Zim was gone... he was glad Zim was gone... or was he?
Years passed by, Dib was almost 17 now! After the realization of his boring life he grabbed his lunch and headed to skool.
It was rainy, muddy.... Disgusting. About a block away he heard a voice, a somewhat electronic voice... that sounded so... familiar.
"Cheese cheese cheese I like cheese. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I can fly! PLOP not! Doom doom doom."
A little green dog... green... wait
"GREEN," Dib shouted.
The dog stopped and the man behind it stopped as well. He was tall and slender, shoulder length black messy looking hair, black boots, black vinyl gloves, black pants, a red tank and a pink one underneath it. This wardrobe was very VERY familiar. It was right on his tongue but he couldn't speak it. He knew exactly who it was but at the same time had no idea.
They stood there and stared at each other for about 5 minutes. Then slowly the man turned away and muttered something that sounded like, "let's go gir."
Gir where did he know that name? Gir... the name replayed over and over in his head and then the voice of the man calling it. Green... gir...ZIM!
It was Zim he was back!
Dib quickly ran to catch up to him, "ZIM!"
The man stopped and turned. He didn't say anything or do anything he just stood there and stared.
The dog ran up to Dib, "HEY! I know you!"
Dib smiled and walked towards Zim, "what are you doing here," he said excited but soon decided it sounded odd and screamed, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE." Zim stared at him some more and turned to walk away.
"Zim," Dib said a little more sympathetic, "I missed you"
Zim didn't even bother turning around, "let's go gir."
He didn't care, but why did Dib care if Zim didn't care? Zim seemed dead inside... different... hurt... emotionally torn. Why did all this matter to Dib though?
