The weekend came soon enough. Gaz was out with her goth girl friends
probably digging up random graves. Pro membrane, the non father like father
– why the hell is he called a father. He's NOT a father – was working and
eating toast as usual. There was nothing to do... Zim.
Dib rolled his eyes. How could he think Zim would have changed? Alien scum... they never change. Wait... but he did change. Zim changed a lot... he used to be a small, egotistical dick and now he's a tall, beautiful and sexy, hatred filled and lost alien. Beautiful and sexy? What was he thinking?
"No alien scum," he yelled, "why am I thinking about him at all... why am I... on his doorstep...?"
The door flew open, an unmasked and tired gir was standing there rubbing his eyes, "hey I know you!"
"yes," Dib said subtly, "I know me too but let me in."
"okie dokie," gir bounced getting out of the way.
Dib shut the door behind him and stood in the hall. The house was exactly the same. EXACTLY. Gir ran around, "Dib is here, Dib is here, Dib Dib Dib Dib... weeeeeeeee muffins! I want muffins! AHHHHHHHHHHHH we have no mu-uu- uu-fins!! Oh Pizza! I like pizza... and cheese. Dooooooom."
"GIR SHUTUP," a voice boomed and a pillow flew at gir's head.
"shhhhh dib, master is sleeping," gir told dib.
"what did you just say," Zim inquired.
"I said – SHHHHHHHHHH DIB MASTER IS STILL SLEEPING,"
"why are you talking to Dib," Zim asked dumbfounded and obviously still quite unconscious.
"because he's here," gir giggled.
"he's here... he's where... he's" it finally sunk in... Zim jumped of the couch, "HE'S HERE!"
Dib caught a long glance of the newly grown alien. He was so... beautiful. Everything about him was stunning... his whole body the whole thing was... wrong thoughts. Dib would not let himself fall in love with an enemy.
"why are you staring at me, and what are you doing in my house," Zim yelled.
"Because I thought we should talk."
"Talk about what," Zim cringed putting his hand on his hip and getting right in Dibs face, "there is nothing to talk about. I-hate-you. Get it? Understand... are we getting communication here?"
"but I really think we should talk."
"do you know what I want to do to you dib-human," Zim spat being so close to Dib their noses were touching, "I want to shave you bare, scoop out your eyes with a rusty spork and roast them, jab you with a plastic butter knife repeatedly slowly driving you insane and all the while enjoying it. Then I will rip you open with a fishing hook and slurp your insides through a straw."
"why so much anger," Dib managed to squeeze out.
Zim backed up an inch, "why so much anger!? DAMNIT WHY SO MUCH ANGER!?!? I'll tell you why."
He launched his fist at Dib but Dib caught it and pulled him right close to him.
"I... I'll..." Zim stuttered to find the words... it was as if they were ripped right out of him. Their eyes locked... Zim quivered... crystal blue; you could see everything in them.
:::his anger makes him even more appealing. No.. I'm not suppose to love an alien... especially a male alien... especially a male alien that's your enemy! It's wrong... but it doesn't feel wrong... it feels... right...:::
Dibs thought's scrambled he was so confused.
:::what's this feeling... warm and... comfortable... with a human? How is this possible... how can it be? Are my emotions wrong? What is going on... am I... in love?:::
Dib's arms wrapped tightly around Zim, cradling him, protecting him from the world and it's terror so it seemed at the time. Slowly their lips naturally met. Zim didn't pull away, as afraid as he was he let Dib hold him, inhaled it... even... enjoyed it. Gradually Zim allowed himself to wrap his arms around Dibs neck. No longer caring... it was all... alright.
Their lips gently parted; Zim looked away his face bright red. What was he doing? Falling in love with a human... expecially a human enimy. Was he crazy?
Dib put his hand on Zim's face and turned it back towards him, "it's okay to be confuesed," he said pulling Zims head in towards his chest and holding him tightly.
"but I hate you," Zim began to cry, "I vowed I would forever hate you, I'm suppose to hate you," Zim sighed and sniffled, "but I don't... I don't hate you."
Gir's antenna flopped and his eyes became soft, "masters in love," he sighed and smiled. Hopefully now... Zim would find happiness.
