Dib got a small cup from the counter and filled it with water. Then
he took a cotton ball and gently pressed it against the cut. Zim shuttered
and winced a small tear of pain crawled down his skin. Dib sighed realizing
that to the irkens water was like pure acid. If Zim got into enough contact
with water it could kill him. He gently tugged off Zim's glove and then
wrapped his hand in the gause.
"Not a word about the blood gir okay," Dib asked.
"alright, but what if master remembers?"
"try to avoid it, hopefully he wont."
Dib looked at the clock... it was 6:30. OH NO! he didn't return the night before. He would be in so much trouble. He shivered at the thought of what his father would do to him.
Gir was running around the house going on about cheese and pickles and such. Dib desided to do the favor and finish up the sandwich that the poor little SIR unit had been waiting for for 6 and a half hours.
Gir gratefully ate it down so fast that is seemed the effort in making it was wasted. Dib just smiled and patted him on the head.
"where are you going," gir said.
"I must leave gir," dib replied, "I'll be back possibly tomorrow."
Gir smiled, "good-bye good-bye good-bye"
Dib chuckled and said, "good-bye," then closed the door.
It was getting dark and the air was moist, he new it was going to rain. He had to get home or else he'd be in even more trouble than if he just came home. Hurrying and running he finally reached home just as it started to pour...
---------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------
Zim rubbed his head having no idea what happened, "gir," he screamed.
Gir rushed to his side, "what happened."
"umm you passed out and hit yourself on the way down... yea," gir stated.
Zim didn't remember, but if it was a lie... it didn't matter.
He got up to stretch when sudden blackness appeared. A figure was smashed against the wall. He was screaming in pain. A bigger figure walked upto him and grabbed him bye the hair. Zim flew back his back was arched and his one head on his forhead.
"No no go away," he screamed.
Gir ran upto him, "master whats going on!?"
Another flash, the boy flown across the table. He laid there stifly as the man walked upto him. The boys face... familiar... it... it was dib!
By this time Zim was crouching on the floor, he looked up painfully at gir. Gir was always there for him. No matter how stupid the little robot was he was always there for Zim. Zim got up slowely... the rain would not stop him. Nothing would, he didn't care anymore. He didn't care if someone was to find out about him. He didn't care... he only cared about Dib and he needed to save him.
"the house isn't that far, I can get there... it'll only hurt a little," Zim assured himself as he stepped out the door.
His first step to the water soaked ground – pain ran right up his legs, up his back and all the way threw him. He threw back his head and let out a painful shreek. Then crumbled to his hands and knees. The water penitrating him... right through his body, his sould everything. Numbing him and tearing him little by little. Slowely desinigrating him. ::I can't let this stop me:: he thought to himself getting up slowely. ::I will get there...:: his energy slowly draining.
He began to walk... trying so hard to walk as fast as he could. The pain slowely becoming unbareable. The house wasn't that far he continued assuring himself. There it was only a couple steps away! Zim slipped on the first step his head, his cheeck squished into the cement of the top step. Like he was becoming a part of it and slowely slipping away. The door then opened. Gaz was standing there whiping her tears.
She jumped back and gasped. Dib was right Zim was and alien. She looked around then quickly brought him into the house. She didn't know much about aliens but she new that he looked sick and she new he must be hidden!
