Draco was tired of sitting around and waiting for Sarah to come to him. 'That's it,' he figured. 'I'm going to find her-even if she is Potter's cousin!' And with that, Draco pulled himself up-only to find himself face- to-face with Sarah in the doorway.
"I, er, was just going to come and find you," said Draco quickly.
"I just finished trying to find you," replied Sarah. "I thought this compartment was empty."
They looked at each other then, uncertain of what to say. Just as Sarah was about to turn around, Draco spoke.
"Would you, er, like to come in?" he asked. He looked down at the floor then not sure if he wanted to hear Sarah's answer. He looked up when she spoke.
"Yeah, sure," she replied, and Draco moved aside to let her in.
They sat down on opposite sides of the compartment, awkwardly looking at each other, then at the floor.
"Listen, Draco," said Sarah," I'm sorry about Harry, and I'm sorry I didn't tell you he's my cousin."
"It's okay," replied Draco. "Don't be sorry, you didn't get a chance to tell me. Besides, I should've guessed Potter would be your cousin."
As soon as he'd finished, Draco could tell he'd said something wrong. Seeing the hurt look on Sarah's face, Draco did something he'd never done before. He got up, sat down beside Sarah, and put his arm around her.
"I'm sorry," he said. "I didn't mean for it to come out like that."
"It's alright," replied Sarah. "I know you and Harry aren't the best of friends."
And with that, she lay her head down on Draco's shoulder and closed her eyes. **I know it's short-sorry. I just thought it seemed appropriate. Im gonna try 2 get another ch. Up 2nite 4 any who is enjoyin this...I dunno though, since I havent gotten any REVIEWS ::cough cough:: lol musta got something caught in my throat there...anyways, hope ur liking it-ttyl :D**
