A/N: Hey people!! By the way, I meant for that last chapter to not take place the day after, I am sorry that it did not seem like that. Once that I now read over it, I realize how improbable that now seemed, but it was all a mistake. So let's move on to the next chpater!
The new couple nervously walked down the halls of their high school, arm in arm. Ethan came back to school on Monday, but it was Kate's first day back. Ethan kept the entire situation a secret, but rumors were flying anyway.
"If only they knew the truth," Kate whispered in Ethan's ear.
The two sat down at an empty lunch table.
"I am so scared. What is going to happen when they find out?"
"Is this scarier than your mom?" Ethan joked.
"It is a very close second, but my mom wins in the end," Kate joked back.
Meanwhile, a trio of friends sat at a nearby lunch table.
"I guess that they are back on again," the blonde said, as she finished her math homework.
"You did not hear what happened?" her curly haired boyfriend asked.
"I did not," Lizzie said, looking up from her textbook.
"My cousin works for the HPD, and he told me that Kate used her cousin's ID, and went clubbing Friday night. When she was there, she had too much to drink, and went home with a complete stranger," Gordo explained. "He slipped GHB into her drink, and raped her."
Lizzie looked over at Kate, who was having a private conversation with Ethan.
"I have to talk to her."
"Lizzie, she has been mean to you since the seventh grade," Miranda spoke up.
"In my book, once a friend, always a friend."
Lizzie ventured over to their table, and sat down in the seat next to Kate.
"Hi, Kate. I was just wondering if you were okay."
The once popular, who now had a very bad reputation, cheerleader, looked into the face of her one-time best friend. She could seen the concern in her eyes.
"Kate, do you want to talk?"
Kate nodded silently, and Ethan got up from the table.
"I will talk to you later," he said, and kissed her on the top of her head.
"Lizzie, can we go somewhere private?"
"Sure," Lizzie replied, and the two went to the library.

"He seemed so handsome and trustworthy, and I wanted to trust him."
Lizzie nodded.
"The room spun around me, and I trusted him when he said that he would take me to his house to lay down. I stumbled home with him, but when he tried to undress me, I ran into the bathroom, where I called Ethan for help. He found a key, and came in and knocked me out, with this chemical, and then..."
Kate started to cry, and Lizzie hugged her.
"I am so sorry."
Kate sighed.
"That's not all of it."
Lizzie raised her eyebrows.
"I went to the hospital, so they could check up on me, and they told me that...I was pregnant."
"And then...my mom wants me to have an abortion, but I can't. I have to keep this baby...Lizzie, I don't know what to do."
Lizzie looked down into her lap, not saying a word.
"I am so sorry."
"Please don't tell anyone."
"I promise I will not."
The bell rang for lunch to be over. I stuck out my hand to Lizzie.
"Friends?"
Lizzie hugged me.
"Friends."
Ethan bust into the library door to find me and Lizzie hugging. He started to talk to me, but hesitated.
"It's okay, Ethan. She knows."
Ethan smiled, and patted me on the back.
