Disclaimer: I don't own any of the Lizzie McGuire, I just merely let my mind wonder.

A/N: This is my first LM story.

Summary: After their Kiss, Lizzie shrugs off Gordo, Is she playing hard to get? Or is someone getting in the way?

*Story*

"Lizziee? How was Rome? Were their any hot guys? Oh my Gosh I heard you were on t.v.? Is that true? I wasn't even close to civilization in Mexico, I so glad to be back..." Lizzie's best friend Miranda was racing on and on about God knows what to her on the phone. It was one of those times when it was okay to ignore your best friend.

"Lizzie, are you listening to me?"

"Yeah, hot guys in Mexico, right."

"NOOO, your new found stardom, hello?"

"Oh, yeah right that, it was no big deal, no one even remembers, it's been like weeks."

Lizzie had been home a couple of weeks, and has already started high school, Miranda however, had just returned. Her Grandmother had died, so she had to spend a few more weeks in Mexico. Miranda was still talking when she got a beep.

"Hold on a sec."

"Sure."

*She clicked over*

"Lizzie," She knew instantly that is was her other best friend Gordo.

"Gordo, umm hey,ahh..."

*Ackward pause*

Normally this wouldn't happen, but considering she had only just kiss him a moth a go things were still pretty shaky.

"Hols, k? Miranda's on the other line."

*Switch*

"Mi-ran-da!"

"What?"

"Gordo's on the other line."

"So?"

Lizzie then remembered she hadn't told Miranda about the two yet, not that she had the opportunity.

"Did something happen between the two of you? Tell me?"

"Hold on again."

"Gordo, can I call you back?"

"Sure."

"Bye."

She hung up before he had a chance to say good-bye.

"Back."

"So?"

Lizzie explained to her friend how she kiss Gordo on the top of their hotel, overlooking Rome.

"Well, at least it was romantic."

"I have know idea you liked Gordo, in that way."

"Well, I didn't know I did either, what should I do?"

"I think the best approach is to wait and see what it meant to him, so act normal and don't bring it up, let him do all the work."

"Ohh, I like the new Miranda."

"I like me too, but I gotta go, Bye."

"Peace."

*At lunch*

"I'll trade you my cupcake for your fries."

"Deal."

Lizzie and Gordo went about their normal lunch routine. Lizzie did just as Miranda said, now it was Gordo's turn to do his share.

"So?" Gordo said, breaking the silence.

"Yep."

"Okay, why is this weird?"

"I dunno."

"Maybe because we haven't talked about the kiss and it's been a month."

"Oh yeah, that."

They looked at each other. They both simultaneously lead in to kiss but it was halter when Miranda plopped down, with a 101 books, right in between then.

"Can you believe how many classes I have? Look at me schedule."

They just stared at each other.

"Did I interrupt something?"
