Disclaimer: I don't own any of the LM characters, I wish I owned Gordo though.
A/N: Thanks for all who reviewed. I don't update a lot because sometimes I think I'm writing to nothing but a screen but, I try my best.
Summary: Lizzie and Gordo try to take their relationship to the next level. Until...
*Flashback*
"Did I interrupt something?"
*Story*
"No, we were just going over...," Lizzie said stumbling over her words.
"Calculus." Gordo said coming to her rescue.
"Right, whatever, can you believe how much homework I have, I wont have anytime to do anything for the next ever."
Miranda raced on. They both just stood there looking at each other, though her.
"Oh, whoa I have to go," She checked her watch, "I have a meeting with Miss. Umgermire."
And with that she stood up and went in the direction of the principal's office.
Lizzie and Gordo were left sitting there, not sure of what to do. They ate without another word. At the sound of the bell they both stood. Lizzie was about to walk away when Gordo grabbed her gently by her hand. They stood awkwardly. Gordo had grown at least 5 inches and was now taller than Lizzie. He looked down on her, their eyes meet, and he leaned down and kiss her. Much longer than the first one, and with less fireworks, but just the thought of the two of them kissing sent fireworks though both bodies. Lizzie pulled away.
"What, was that too much?"
"No, it's just Miranda."
"What about Miranda?"
"Well, she doesn't know about this and I don't think she'd be happy."
"Why not? This has nothing to do with her."
"Yeah, but I'm her best friend, and I'm supposed to tell her everything."
"Since when?"
"I don't know."
"Lizzie, are you going to live your life for Miranda?"
"I don't know."
"Well, when you do, get back to me."
He turned and left, leaving Lizzie feeling like her heart had been ripped out my a Lion.
*Later that night*
Lizzie's phone rang.
"Hello."
"It's me, I decided to take a five minute break."
"Oh, cool, how's it going?" Lizzie said uneasily.
"Hell."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
"Lizzie, Is something the matter?"
Lizzie really wanted to say: 'Yes, something's the matter, I just let the most wonderful guy walk away, because I was afraid of hurting your feelings. So, if you don't mind, I'm not in a very talkative mood right now. You'll excuse me if I don't care about your boring homework and how your life is coming to an end.' But instead he just said: "No, why?"
"Well, you and Gordo seemed like you were about to do something at lunch and I kinda felt like I was a third wheel."
*Long pause*
"Did something happen?"
"No, umm..." Lizzie was a notoriously bad liar.
"Good, because I might have not told you before, but I kinda have a thing for Gordo."
"You do?!?"
"I thought you knew."
"How could I have known if you never told me?"
"Well, screw it, it doesn't matter."
"What do you mean it doesn't matter?!"
"It'll only matter, if you like him, which I'm sure you don't" She said sternly.
"Right."
"I have to go, see you tomorrow."
She hung up.
Then Gordo called.
"So, have you decided?"
"Gordo, I have no time for this."
"Okay, so what, I should come back when it's most convenient, you know what Lizzie how about we forget everything, yeah, that's what we'll do, because obviously nothing has change, you don't like me as much has I you, and of course Miranda makes decisions for you."
*Pause*
"Lizzie, do me a favor...."
*Pause*
"Grow up!"
He hung up.
