Mwahah.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx My adventure began in the year XXth year of his majesty, King Destin's rule. It was the first time I had ever left San d'Oria, luckily, I was fortunate enough to be able to travel across the disputed land safely with the aide of a seasoned warrior at my side. After a long walk, I arrived at Bastok Mines, clothed in a pair of elfish blue-green clothes with nothing but an Onion Sword and Adventurer Coupon in my bag. The city was very different than the surroundings I was accustomed to and had lived my whole life in. Instead of massive pines and rolling hills lay endless rocks and never-ending mines. Rock Lizards and Stone Eaters littered every lifeless crevice of Gustaberg, and fresh adventurers could be seen smacking at them with their dull swords for ends on. The city it self was very different too. Instead of the fresh air I was used too, the air in the city was dusty and smelled like sulfur. Despite the pollution and lifeless desert, the Humes and Galkas of Bastok had managed to turn the place into a thriving oasis. Although, I was short for my kind, as I stood as high as any average Hume male, which made me on the taller end of the people seen hurrying in and out of the streets of Bastok Markets. This was quite the contrary of what I was used to in San d'Oria, for ever since I had been a child, I was teased for my shorter than normal height. Unlike my comrades whom I would later meet in my adventure, I grew up in poverty. I had 3 brothers and 2 sisters, and my mother was an attendant at the San d'Orian chocobo stables. She had raised us herself, as my father had left shortly after the conception of my baby sister. I was the oldest of my siblings, not the prettiest, nor most intelligent; however as in tradition, my family's honor was handed to me on a silver platter. This was the reason I had left my home in the grand kingdom. I wished to pursue honor and dignity. Yes, I wanted everyone to remember and know my name. For I, Saya Unruh Von Ruprecht would become the world's best...... FISHERMAN.
Anyhow, I apologize for getting off topic...
Upon arriving in Bastok I adopted the alias 'Kaldea' and registered myself a "Moogle" House. Inside my room I found a sickening object known as a "Mog". Upon seeing me it piped, "Hello Master! Please let me hold your items, Master!". I arched my eyebrow at it in confusion. What was this talking object that was trying to steal MY items? After staring at the furry thing for a moment, it gave me a disgusting grin and said again, "Please Master! My only happiness lies within watching over your items, Master!". I drew my sword and snorted, "You DARE insult my intelligence, you fiend? Do you think I am dumb enough to let you lay your paws upon my items as that you may sell them at the Auction House and proceed to buy drugs with the gil you earn from the sale of my equipment?!". The furry thing backed away in amazement and began to sweat, covering it's eyes it meeped, "Master please! Believe Mog! Mog only wants to watch your items and grow strange exotic plants and then proceed to sell them to underage Tarus on the streets!!". I drew my sword closer to it's face and shouted "SILENCE!". I then began to arch my arm upwards in the stance that would end this pathetic creature's existence.
