WHOOPIE!!! Me do good! At the hospital Star's come out of theater and is in
the intensive care unit. Cyborg and BB are in the lab at the tower and have
found five sets of fingerprints on the paper.
STORY:
"Well that narrows the search down a bit." BB laughed rubbing the back of his head.
"Yeah, one of the sets it yours, another mine, Robin's, Jinx's and..." Cy stopped to wait for the last set of fingerprints to be matched to a member in the city. "Raven's" He whispered.
"Yeah! I knew it!"
"How do we find out where she's being held?"
"Easy, give me the paper."
BB took the paper and walked over to the Bunsen that was lit. He dangled the edge of the paper into the flame and caught the ashes in a dish. Cy looked on as BB filled the dish with water and put it back under the Bunsen.
"What did you do?"
"If the paper was near salty water, some of the solvent would've got into the paper fiber's. When the water evaporates, if there's salt in the bottom we know Raven's near the sea."
"That could work. Wait...How did YOU know that?"
"I was always good at science."
BB turned his attention back to the Bunsen the water had evaporated and there were salt crystals in the bottom of the dish.
"BOO-YEAH! We struck gold!" Cy shouted punching the air.
"Come on, we have to help Raven."
The two titans ran out of the lab and away from the tower. It didn't take them long to reach the harbour. Once they were there, Cy called Robin to inform him of their discovery.
"Good work, Star's out of theater, I'll be down in a minute." Cy's arm turned back into a hand and he looked at BB.
"We wait?"
"I suppose, Robin will be here soon."
"Yeah but waiting puts Raven in more danger."
"I just hope this Edals bloke hasn't hurt her. Cy, he won't hurt her will he?"
"I dunno, we don't even know who this bloke is."
"Hang on, give me that stick."
Cy passed BB the stick that was lying on the ground. BB jumped off the pier onto the sand below. He began writing things in the sand. Cy jumped down next to him and looked at his writing.
"What?"
"It's like that Pier 14 thing, y'know, it was all blobby so Raven thinned it out and then flipped it around. Well look at Edals and read it backwards."
"Slade."
"Hey guy's I'm here."
"We know who's got Raven-"
"And we know where she is."
"We do?"
"Pier 14, the old abandoned warehouse, Slade's holding her there."
"Slade?"
"Yeah."
"Let's go."
