Freaky! Seriously didn't imagine six escape chapters. Okay, Mammoth's made
a hole big enough to crawl through. Robin's come through and Gizmo, Dove
and Mammoth are waiting outside with Cyborg.
STORY:
"I'll be back in a minute, with the others." Robin said to Gizmo.
"Roger that, make sure Jinx isn't hurt."
"Okay. Can you try to fix Cy?"
"Sure."
Robin left the room and walked silently down the corridor. He pressed his ear against each door, none revealing the whereabouts of the three absentees. A scream echoed down the hall. Robin ran past several doors skidding to a halt in front of one. Another scream was emitted from the room and Robin carefully opened the door.
Inside Raven, Jinx and BB were strapped onto boards and, in turn, tortured by Slade. He stuck a shocker into Jinx's side and she screamed again. BB was unconscious and Raven looked drowsy.
"You're helping them escape. After all I did for you." Slade said to Jinx.
"Including throwing us out on the street." Jinx replied, sucking on her bleeding lip.
"Yet you help your enemy escape?" Slade carried on as if there was no interruption.
"You shouldn't have kidnapped her in the first place." Jinx spat.
"On the contrary Jinx, the key to destroying the titans, comes from a titan herself. You see she's been secretly collecting information for me."
Robin gasped at this statement.
"That's not true!" Raven shouted.
"Shut up!" Slade shouted, striking Raven hard round the face. "No one was talking to you."
Raven was silent. Slade turned back to Jinx.
"She's been working hard, placing cameras around titan's tower, collecting information about each titans past and abilities."
"You lie!" Jinx shouted.
"No Jinx. I'm telling the truth."
"Look, I know Raven's secretive, but she would never betray her friends!"
"She doesn't have any friends. If she did, they'd all be here saving her, only this scrawny runt is her friend."
"And that's why they tried to bust her out? Because they don't like her?"
Robin listened carefully to each thing Slade said. He looked at Raven who, for a second maintained eye contact with him, before looking away and bracing himself.
"You get a lot of enjoyment torturing people Slade, how would you like being tortured yourself?" Robin shouted running through the doorway.
"Robin. So glad you could join us." Slade said pointing the shocker at him.
"Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" Raven shouted.
The shocker turned black and slipped out of Slade's grip. Raven used the shocker to shock Slade in the back several times. He sunk to the floor in defeat. Robin walked over to BB and broke the straps. He then walked to Jinx and did the same. Jinx pulled the straps off Raven and followed Robin, who was carrying BB out of the room.
Raven stayed behind and looked pitifully at Slade.
"Just because you don't have friends, doesn't give you the right to destroy other friendships." She said before leaving the room.
Raven walked down the hall and found the hole. She moved some rubble out of the way with her spell and ducked through.
Outside Jinx, Mammoth and Gizmo looked at the four titans.
"I fixed Cyborg." Gizmo said.
"And did a pretty good job." Cyborg replied, shaking the midget's hand.
"Thanks."
"I'm afraid the alliance stops here." Jinx said.
"I was hoping you wouldn't say that." Raven replied smiling.
"We're still enemy's Raven, just not as extreme as before."
"If you need help, or a place to stay, titans tower is always open to you." Raven sighed.
"Thanks but no thanks, we'll be okay."
"Think about it."
"We will." Mammoth said.
The H.I.V.E turned around and walked up the Pier. Raven stood watching them until they were out of sight. She turned and looked at the titans. Robin busied himself with BB and Cyborg maintained the silence.
"What Slade said, Robin, it's not-"
"I don't care if it's true or not."
"You believe your arch enemy over your teammate?"
"I don't know who to believe."
