WEE!!! Has anyone seen the advert for the new teen titans series!?!?! I be
groovy!!! Anyway, back to my story. I'm gonna have to write a sequel cuz I
don't wanna stop writing, but this story's nearly finished. : (
STORY:
Raven sat on the cliff edge watching the sea wash up against the rocks below. Something caught her eye, a shiny object that lay on the rocks. She floated down to it and took a closer look. It was a disk, like the one Slade used to make the flame monster.
"He can't be here...Can he?" She whispered softly to herself.
"Raven?"
Raven turned to see Dove floating mid-air behind her. Her eyes softened and she turned back to the disk.
"Raven? What is wrong? All you wanted was to be with your friends, but now you can be, all you want is to be alone."
"It's complicated."
"No, it is just strange."
"You don't understand, you're too young."
Raven looked again at the disk. She turned to look at Dove but she wasn't there.
"RAVEN! HELP!" Dove screamed from the top of the cliff.
Someone was holding her from behind. She was gagged and thrown off the cliff.
"DOVE! Azarath Metr-" Someone grabbed her from behind and put their hand over her mouth.
Raven struggled to escape as she watched her sister plummeting towards the sea. Fear overtook Raven and tears escaped her eyes. The tears trickled down her face onto her captures hand. He howled and let go as if he had been burnt.
"AZARATH METRION ZINTHOS!" Raven yelled.
The whizzing dot slowed but not quick enough. Dove hit the water at a horrible speed and sunk beneath the waves. Overcome by guilt, Raven flew as quickly as possible into the water. She struggled to see her sister between the masses of bubbles that floated around her.
'Come on Dove, give me a sign here. You have to be all right, okay? You just have to.'
Raven's arm brushed against something and without thinking she grabbed it. Floating silently to the surface. Raven pulled her burden above the water. It was Dove but she looked blank, as if there was nothing inside, no soul, spirit, nothing.
"Come on Dove, I can't loose you too." Raven whispered to her unconscious sister.
Raven managed to muster enough strength to fly out of the water. She landed on the rocks and looked nervously at Dove. Raven picked her up, she was surprisingly light, and followed the path back up to the cliff top.
