Two people in intensive care?!?! Blooming 'eck!!! Dove's being prepared for
her op and Starfire's awake. BB and Raven hugging?!?! Is this a new start
for the two?
STORY:
"Uh...Raven...you can let go now." BB said. Raven pulled away from him.
"Sorry. It's just been so hard. I'm sorry."
"What for?"
"For being a right cow."
"Hey. I never said that."
"I feel like it though. All I did was diss you, and Robin hates me."
"He doesn't hate you, he's just confused. Like you."
"Thanks."
A nurse pulled back the curtain.
"Right, Raven, I'll need you to sign these so we can get on with the op."
"Okay."
Raven took the forms and a pen from the nurse and filled them in. Dove was taken into theater. Raven waited outside the door. BB came up behind her and put his hand on her shoulder.
"Come on. There's no use in waiting, it just drags time."
"You're right."
Raven allowed BB to steer her away from the operating theater and they walked out of the hospital.
"How's Star?"
"She's awake."
"That's good."
"Raven?"
"Yeah?"
"You know you can talk to me about anything don't you?"
"Yeah, I know. And you know, if I tell you anything and you blab, you'll get every bone in your body broken."
"Yup." He said smiling. 'That's my girl, back with a vengeance.' He thought.
"Good. I can't take this." Raven said, her voice softening again.
"Take what?"
"Everything, whatever I do, someone, or something gets hurt. I can't even help my own sister. She's depended on me for the first ten years of her life, when I left she was heart broken."
"But you're together now, and that's what counts."
"I never told her how much I relied on her, she always made me smile, and if she dies, I'll never be able to tell her."
"She won't die."
