Chapter 1: January

January 1

Sigh. Yet another sad attempt to capture Princess Peach has failed. What else is new? You know, I wouldn't have to even have to try to kidnap her if she would just give living with me here in Dark World a shot. Then, maybe then, she'd know how I really feel about her...

January 2

Kamek and I had a little meeting in his office today. He says he's cooking up a little something special that'd give me much assistance on capturing the princess successfully. Will it really work? Fat chance.

Sorry for not writing yesterday. I was way too busy. Wendy was getting on my last nerves, like she knows how to do so well. She kept begging me to take her to the mall to get some new shoes. I thought, "Why not? One pair wouldn't cost so much." Well, I thought wrong. Of course, we walk in to the shoe store, surrounded by nice-looking shoes at affordable prices, but of course she manages to pull the most expensive ones of the shelves. I kept trying to convince her to pick a different pair, but after countless tries, I felt a tantrum somewhere in the near future, so I reluctantly bought her the shoes. Did I mention the boys were with me too? Yup, the six of them were running around like berserk f**k heads. I calmly rounded them all up, afraid if I let them be any longer, I'd burst into a raging fit. So, on the way out of the mall, Roy shoved Iggy, sending him falling right on his face. He got up and showed me his broken glasses. Damn. We had to turn around and buy him some new specks, taking even more cash from out of my wallet. Today was surprisingly peacefully, mainly because the kids were over visiting a friend. Too bad it wasn't like that more often. Oh well, I better get some rest for tommorow. I'll need it

The horror. It was Larry's birthday today. Even more obnoxious koopa-lings than usual running around the house. I had a minor headache, that is until Larry opened the presents, revealing a "Metallica" cd that he's wanted forever. Greeeeaaat. After they nagged me endlessly to put it on, I finally gave in. Too bad. I mean, all it was a bunch of kids wrestling each other indoors to the incredibly loud, aggravating, headbanger music. Oh joy, oh joy.

Ok, that's the end of the first chapter. By the way, I really do like Metallica, actually. They're one of my favorite bands. Anyhoo, coming soon: Chapter 2: Febuary.
