On with the show….
-----------------------------------
The next day Lily met up with Travis by his locker towards the end of school. He seemed…different…to lily.
"Trav, what's up? You seem a little off today." Lily asked, genuinely concerned.
"Its just that…after you left the warehouse yesterday, Audrey called. And had some fatal words for any guy to hear…"Travis began.
"Ahh.. Lemme guess: We need to talk."
"Yeah, so I met her at Mickey's and now, well, you figure it out. She still wants us to be friends." he said.
"And how do you feel about still being friends?" Lily asked
"I wouldn't have it any other way. I just wish I had gotten to know her a little better before I asked her out."
"Yeah, I think you should always be friends with someone first, so you know if they are truly into ya." Lily said. "But other than that, you are ok about it, right?"
"Oh yeah. I'm fine. I know it may seem kind of wrong, but I've had my eye on someone else." Travis said. "I guess loosing Audrey is what I get for liking another girl, huh?"
"Not that whole karma thing again" The two just laughed.
Lily and Travis made their way to the steps where the others were waiting.
"Hey, guys, can I ask you about something?" Robbie asked, almost worried.
"Yeah, Robbie, what's up?" Lily asked
"Well, ok, Lily, you might already know this, but I kind of… like… Kim. So-" Robbie Began.
"Whoa, wait Kim Carlisle, the queen of mean?"
"Yes, Ray, but she is really nice if you would just give her a chance." Robbie continued. "I asked her out, and, well, she said yeah, so I just wanted to tell you guys that I cant make the show today."
"Sure, we can cover for you today, it's all request music, remember?" Travis said, looking into his book.
"No problem, Romeo, Have fun tonight. Where are you taking her?" LiLy asked impatiently waiting for an answer.
"Actually, we are just sort of hanging out at Mickey's tonight, I'm seeing if she wants to be my girlfriend and everything. Ray, you ok with this? You look mad."
"No, no I'm not ok. I can't get over the fact that you are going out with the Cougar of Darkness…" ray snapped, as someone joined their little group
"I prefer to be called Kim, thanks. Robbie, Ill meet you at Mickey's around 4:30, ok?"
"Sure Kim." Robbie returned, getting up to walk with her.
"Ray, why did you do something so stupid? Kim has to be really sweet or Robbie wouldn't like her so much. I mean, it's about time he asked her out he's liked her for a while…" Lily trailed off.
"Why didn't he tell me he liked her?" Ray asked, a little agitated.
"Probably because he knew how you would react" Travis laughed.
"yeah, well, we better get going. RFR is on soon." Lily reminded her friends.

"Go ahead Robbie, you are on the air! What song would you like to hear?" Shady Lane introduced a caller. It was obvious as to who it was.
"I want to hear I hate everything about you by 3 Days Grace. Thanks Shady" And like that Robbie was off the air.
Robbie and Kim could hear the song coming through the speakers from the couch at Mickey's.
"Why did you call in to that show?" Kim asked, a little rudely.
"Because I wanted you to hear the lyrics. I think it is a good description of this guy I know…"
Every time we lie awake/After every hit we take/Every feeling that I get/But I haven't missed you yet/Every room mate kept awake/by every sigh and scream we make/All the feelings that I get/But I still don't miss you yet/Only when I stop to think about it/I hate everything about you, why do I, love you?/I hate everything about you, why do I, love you?/Every time we lie awake/After every hit we take/Every feeling that I get/but I haven't missed you yet./Only when I stop to think about it./I hate everything about you, why do I, love you?/I hate everything about you, why do I, love you?/Only when I stop to think about you I know. Only when you start to think about me, do you know…/I hate everything about, why do I, love you?/You hate everything about me, why do you love me?/I hate, you hate, I hate, you love me./I hate everything about you, why do I, love you?
"Wow." Kim said under her breath " I think I know a girl like that."
"Well, would the girl you know be interested in the guy I know?" Robbie asked.
" I think she just might…"Kim leaned over the couch and kissed Robbie sweetly on the lips.
"Um, Kim, would you like to go to the Roscoe Observation Deck with me tonight?" Robbie smiled.
"More than anything, Poodlehead"
Kim stood up and they walked out holding hands, ignoring every person who made a crude remark…

"I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today, tune in tomorrow for another dose of the truth…" Travis ended, flicking off the power in the tech booth.
"Hey, Lily, can we wait until tomorrow to hang out? I have to go to dinner for my brother's sports banquet." Ray rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, sure, Ray. Me and Travis are going to finish up the English project we were working on. I can't wait to get it done." Lily sighed, thinking of how much work they had left.
"Actually, Lil , we don't have that much left. I had to take my mind off of that little problem." Travis said.
"What problem?" Ray asked
"Nothing Ray. Get going or you are going to get the Brennan lecture again…" Lily laughed.
"See ya bro. Bye lily." Ray kissed her on the cheek. Lily blushed. "Don't try to pull anything on her, Trav, you hear me?"
"You got it." Travis said, not wanting to sound jealous.
Ray leaves letting the door slam, then sticking his head back in to apologize.
"Sorry, the wind caught it!" Ray said, then running off to his house.
"So, Lily, I was thinking about putting the report on black poster paper…."Travis ended slowly, seeing something wrong with his best friend. "What's wrong, Lil?"
"Nothing, Travis, black is fine. Go with black"
"Come on, I know when something is wrong with my best friend."
"Ok, I was just thinking about me and Ray. I'm not sure if I like him like this. What do you think?"
"I think you should trust whatever you feel is right" Travis answered, inching closer to Lily, who was sitting on the arm of the couch.
"That wasn't the answer I was looking for. But…"
"But what?"
"I think I know what you are trying to say."
Lily leaned over and kissed Travis. First on the cheek then on the lips. Travis could taste the cherry sweetness of her lip gloss as their tongues met. Almost as quickly as it happened, the kiss was over. Travis just stared Lily in the eyes, and she stared back. She knew it was wrong, but Lily couldn't help but kiss him again. He wasn't expecting it as much this time, but greatly accepted her tongue into his mouth. He couldn't do this to Ray.
"Lily…?"

A/N: I shall leave it at that. I know I didn't clarify who said lily. You will have to review to find out! MWAHAHA! If you want me to continue and you liked it, leave me a short message telling me so and the number 1. If you want me to continue but you didn't like it, say why you didn't like it and press 2. If you liked it and don't want me to continue, just tell me that you liked it and press 3. If you hated it and don't want me to continue, don't bother reviewing it! Just kidding. I always accept constructive criticism and I just had Band Festival (That's where you play a concert for judges and they, well, judge you and tell ya the good bad and the ugly!)
