Until Death Do We Part

Ch. 1 - Photo Album

Reggie Rocket sat in the living room of her one bedroom house. She sat cross legged with a large photo album in her lap. She opened the cover and looked at the first page. She smiled there was a picture of her and her husband of fourteen months at her junior prom when she was sixteen. There were also pictures of them on Twister's eighteenth birthday.

She turned the page and saw a picture of a blue sports car badly smashed up, she frowned other pictures on that page included people with sullen looks, the last picture on the page was a tombstone with the inscription:

Samuel L. Dullard

August 8, 1992 - June 17, 2010

Reggie remembered the day all too clearly, Sam had went to a graduation party, and on his way home his car was struck by a drunk driver. The driver of the other car walked away from the wreck without so much as a scratch. However Sam died instantly.

She continued looking through the book, and then put it into a large cardboard box along with old birthday and Christmas cars, other photo albums, and a few other odds and ends. She heard footsteps behind her, she turned around to see her brother, Otto.

"We're about ready to go," he said.

"Okay," Reggie replied, putting duct tape on the box.

She got off the couch so Twister and Otto could move it out to the truck, Reggie took one last look around the small house, that she and Twister had shared for the past two and a half years and then locked the door behind her.

Reggie found out after she and Twister were engaged that her mother left her $500,000, that her Mom made in the stock market. Right after that Twister and Reggie designed there dream house together, the two were very much in love.

They started dating when she was 16, and Twister was 14. They got engaged eleven years later. The two of them had been through so much together, not only had Sam died, but Twister's parents both died in a car accident when Twister was seventeen. Twister went to live with his brother Lars. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, it helped Twister and Reggie a lot. Lars lived in another part of the state, so it tested how strong the bond between the two of them was, they lasted 18 months long distance, only seeing each other when Reggie could take time off from college, or Twister had a vacation from high school. Not only that, but Lars and Twister bonded, and became really close, something the two could never achieve when they were kids.

The house the two designed was really nice, two floors, four bedrooms, two bathrooms. The house had taken over a year to build, and they could finally move in. Not only was there new house exciting, but Reggie was pregnant, six months pregnant, and had recently found out that she wasn't having one baby, not twins, but triplets, all girls. Things for Twister and Reggie were going great, and had been for a while, and things were seeming to only get better.
