A/N: Prequel of sorts to "No Witch". Where did Harry get that book from?
Moving Pictures
"And the pictures are moving..."
Hermione's voice was wondering as she turned the book to get a better look.
"It's a wizard book, Hermione. Anyway, I think the moving pictures are a good idea in this. It gives the readers a better grasp of... techniques."
Harry was peering over Hermione's shoulder.
"Mm, look at this!" Hermione had turned the page and come upon a very... vigorious couple. "Is that even possible?"
"Apparently yes. I think," Harry squinted at the illustration, " they might have used Wingardium Leviosa."
"Would you two just, just quit it!"
Ron, who was demonstratively standing several feet away from the Borgin and Burke's section of "Love in Flesh" - and carefully looking the other way too - was as red as his hair. And getting darker.
"I thought we came to find the supplementary reading for DADA, not to stare at..." He made a vague gesture somewhere in the general direction of the book Hermione and Harry were browsing.
"Just a moment Ron. I'll... Oh, Harry, look at that! Oh my..."
Harry was nodding his agreement, eyes glazing over.
"Yesss...."
Ron threw up his hands in defeat and stomped off in search for Remus.
Harry and Hermione continued to stare at the book intently 'till the echo of Ron's steps had faded in distance. Then Harry rised his head and looked around.
"Hey, Hermione, the coast is clear."
Hermione's shoulders shook with surpressed giggles.
"Ron is so... so..."
"I agree. But he's fun."
"Harry!" Hermione didn't quite manage to sound disapproving, so she quit trying and laughed instead. "We are so corrupted."
"It seems we have to do some corrupting with Ron. Or, actually, you have to."
"Yes." Hermione closed the book and looked at the price tag.
"I think I'll buy this. To, you know, help me with the corrupting."
"Okay, I'll just..." Harry quickly browsed through the shelves with more fictional novels.
"This one, I think," Harry snagged his choice from the shelf. "Neville said it's good. Let's go find Ron."
Together they headed for the counter.
The End (this time)
