Chapter Two: Nightmares

My heart pounding,Faster and Faster..I shut my eyes to avoid the bright lights.I could feel the firey pain ripping through me,I ignored the sweltering heat as the shadows grew deeper and deeper,The silence over took me as I watched the fading lights.Sweat pouring down my pale forehead as I tried to pull myself to my feet,My green sweater drenched in icy sweat.The green cloth sticking to my tanned skin.When would this be over?When?
I know you think I shouldn't still love you
I'll tell you that
But if I didn't say it,Well I'd Still Have Felt It
Where's The Sense In That?
Grumbling I climbed to my feet,The bright lights blinding me.I soon knew where I was -- The blaring of the loud music erupted from the speakers as I stumbled through the club,Avoiding the dancing forms around me,I had to get out of here.The smoke was thicker than ever as the foul smell of liquor flooded the room,I managed to get to the doors but they wouldn't open...

Or Return To Where We Were
As hard as I tried the doors wouldn't budge.Panic filled my already frightened soul,What was wrong here?This had to be a dream -- This couldn't be real.As I pushed at the doors they never moved an inch,The smoke was growing thicker it seemed,As the music level rose I tried my best to escape all this,To escape this pain -- I was slowly suffocating....

There Will Be No White Flag Above My Door

My heart was pumping to the mass that was slowly forming,What could I do? I was trapped. My thoughts were racing at the speed of light,Something had come over me -- Driven me this far.What was it though?Had someone given me drugs? The thought sickened me as my eyes slowly became red and began to sting -- I was trying my best to hold up,But how much longer could I stay like this?
I Know I Left To Much Mess
And Destruction To Come Back Again
And I Caused But Nothing But Trouble
I Understand If You Can't Talk To Me Again
And If You Live By The Rules Of "Its Over"
Then I'm Sure That,That Makes Sense
Sputtering I felt my lungs become clogged,The smoke was to much -- I could not breathe.I could never breathe,The heat was rising.The room was spinning.I fell in a puddle of red on the floor,The lyrics still booming over the loud speakers:
"Darkness Cover Me
Deny Everything
Slowly Walk Away
To Breathe Again"
This lyrics boomed through my head as my vision faded to black,captured in the grasp of the swirling black mists,the song repeating,one last time....
Well I Will Go Down With This Ship
And I Won't Put My Hands Up And Surrender

Numbuh 3's eyes snapped open as the rain continued to fall,Groaning she stared into the misty grey sky,It had been a dream,All a dream.A small sigh of relief escaping her lips.Her thoughts becoming a turmoil.What would of happened if she had never woken from the nightmare? Her thoughts were spinning.As her vision began to clear she saw two life-forms above her,a boy and a girl.She blinked and sat up the best she could.
Her vision fully clear now,Her eyes went wide at who she saw.
"Numbuh 13! Numbuh -46!What're you doing here?" Numbuh 3 asked,Still trying to make herself believe this was real.Numbuh -46 grumbled and folded his arms as Numbuh 13 looked at Numbuh 3.
"We've come to earth to help you and the others." was all Numbuh 13 said.
Numbuh 3 nodded and slightly smiled as she fell back against the ground.
And When We Meet
Which I'm Sure We Will
All That Was Then
Will Be There Still
I'll Let It Pass
And Hold My Tongue
And You Will Think
That I've Moved On....
Numbuh 3's smile faded as she felt her vision blur and then go black as her eyes drifted closed,It was all nightmares.Maybe she had woken up before it was too late...

Numbuh 13 stared blankly down at the now sleeping Japenese girl,Her attention turned to Numbuh -46 who looked like he was pouting.Numbuh 13 rolled her eyes and picked Numbuh 3 up,heading towards somewhere safe.Numbuh -46 sighed and followed.He wasn't in the mood to be left behind while it was raining.
