Eowyn is one of my favorite characters in LotR, and one day I felt like writing a poem about her most courageous moment. Please review! ^_^

By My Sword I Am
I lie here without forlorn
On these fields of the dead and torn.
My limbs are numb, my breath in gasps,
And yet I linger, a slight form on the grass.
I hear soft sobs drifting around me
A testament to the impact of battling.
Where courage of my people never once failed,
I lie with them now, my skin paled.
But indeed I did all that I can
With the ruin of the dark wraith from this land.
Shall nighttime come and my life is spent
I shall accept it with content.
By my sword I am,
And I know I did more that I can.
Through shadows fading and starless night,
Nothing can have more might
Than the sacrifice of valor,
To help bring back a world of light.
