A Great Place to Go
When I go to Connecticut, I go back home
I have many friends there, so I'm not alone
My nanny lives there, so I see her too
The animals are like clowns at the zoo
And the temperature there is cold and nice
Though the water is usually ice
Also there lives Uncle Mike
There are many things about him that I like
I'm sad as a widow, when I go
But soon I'll come back, that I know.

The Family I Love
My grandparents are gentle and caring
And I'm happy when they come over
It's so joyful when I see them
Even as good as a four-leaf clover

My parents are persevering and pleasant
They're as smart as a fortuneteller
When I am feeling woozy and sick
They will surely make me feel weller

My sister, Molly, may be mischievous
But she can be really cool too
I also have a dog named Gracie
If she could speak, she would be true.

Thinking About Me
When I ask about myself
I think of many memories
And If I'd try to say them all
It would take many diaries

I have a family as great as gold
Like my dad, sister, and aunt
And when I come to think about it
They're the only family I want.

My life is like a rocky mountain
Bumping up and down
With many wonderful experiences
It can be hard to show a frown.

Later, in the life of me
A very good citizen, I shall be
Though I have to wait with everyone else
I know that I'll still be myself.
