Midnight Cherubim: I probably will stick with B/L, however Haldir will have a major part in the story (don't know yet).
Chapter 10 – Rivendell
The first thing that Buffy realized was that she was not on the ground, but on a comfortable bed. She slowly opened her eyes and saws Frodo asleep on a chair in the most beautiful room that Buffy every saw. She started to move and realized that her shoulder was very sore and then she remembered that she had jumped in front of Frodo and the Wraith had stabbed her in the shoulder. As she was remembering this the door opened to reveal a stern looking man with long brown hair and pointed ears, and a old man with long gray hair and a beard, both had power in them.
"We are so glad to see that you have awaken" said the stern looking man "I am Elrond of Rivendell and this is Gandalf the Grey".
At that moment Frodo woke up, "Thank goodness, Lady Buffy, your okay!" Frodo says with a bright smile.
"Lady Buffy, how are you feeling?" asked Elrond "You have healed as fast as an Elf"
"A little sore, but getting better"
"Lady Buffy, Aragorn says you are not from here." Ask Gandalf
"Aragorn?" questioned Buffy
"You would know him as Strider" says Elrond "Frodo, could you please inform Strider, Pippin, Sam, and Merry that Lady Buffy is going to be fine?"
"I will see you later." says Frodo as he is leaving the room.
"Lady Buffy, we are deeply in your debit for saving Frodo." "Strider says that the Higher Powers sent you to help protect Frodo and the Ring?" Gandalf questioned.
"Yes, I am the slayer, one girl in all the world with the strength and power to fight against Vampires and evil, etc." Giles was so much better at this explaining thought Buffy. "I was sent to help destroy the ring."
"Lady Buffy, we would like you to attend a council meeting tomorrow concerning the Ring." States Elrond "We will let you sleep for now."
"Sleep well, Lady Buffy." says Gandalf
Later in the day, someone knocked on the door and the most beautiful elf walked in. "Lady Buffy, I am Arwen. I thought if you feel up to it I would show you around Rivendell."
"Thank you, that sounds like a good idea. Do you know where my clothes are?"
"They are being repaired. Here is a dress that will look wonderful on you." states Arwen.
Buffy, wasn't sure about wearing a dress, because the last time she wore a dress this fancy was at Halloween. (And we know what happen then, she because a helpless Victorian girl). However, Buffy decided to make an exception. It was a beautiful dress made with the deepest red material. Buffy slipped the dress on and it fit perfectly. "I feel like a princess wearing this dress."
"Would you like me to fix your hair?" Arwen sat Buffy down in front of a mirror and french braided her hair. "Now I will show you around Rivendell"
As Buffy and Arwen walked around Rivendell, they talked about many things and became good friends. As they headed towards the stables, they saw several different people riding in Rivendell. Especially three beautiful Elves, who rode in the gates on beautiful horses.
"Who are they?" asked Buffy
"They are Elves from Mirkwood" replies Arwen
Just than Pippin, Merry, Sam and Frodo saw them. "Lady Buffy!" exclaimed the excited Hobbits "Your Awake!"
"Hello, I am glad you made in to Rivendell" says Buffy
"Lady Buffy, I will leave you with your friends" says Arwen
"Come on, we were on our way to lunch" says Pippin
Buffy just loved the Hobbits, they reminded her of Xander. "Okay, let's go."
Later in the evening, Buffy was sitting in the garden looking at the beautiful stars and wondering if the scoobies were doing okay.
"What are you thinking about?" asks Aragon
"I was thinking about home."
"Do you miss it?" Aragon ask quietly
"Sometimes, I wonder what everyone is doing. If they are safe."
"I am sure they are otherwise the Higher Power won't of sent you here"
"Thanks Aragon or should I call you Strider?"
"Either, now I think it is time that I walked you back to your room to rest. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day."
"Okay" says Buffy trying to stop yawning.
