Watching Her With Snakey Eyes.
He had been sent here to watch her. But he really didn't think his father knew which one he was supposed to watch. Marco Zabini had sent his son to the Zabini Family home in Rome on the orders of the dark Lord. Rumor had it that the thing that guarded the Key was now residing in the city. It wasn't easy to find her. But Blaise Zabini did find the Summers women.
The short one, the blond was off shopping. The dark haired one was touring the city. That was how Blaise first saw her. The wind sent her hair back from her face in curtain of shimmering golden brown. He made his move.
"Pardon me, miss?" He tapped her lightly on the shoulder.
"Huh?" She whipped around to face him.
"I believe you dropped this." He held the charm out to her. It was the Dark Lord's really, but it was meant for the Key to possess.
"Oh, no. Not mine."
"I saw it fall from your handbag."
"Hmm." She took the charm from his hand. It had a bright green stone in the center, and it seemed to be moving in the mouth of the platinum viper. She smiled up at him. "I borrowed the purse from Crystella. It could be hers. Thanks." She stretched her hand out for a handshake. "I'm Dawn Summers."
"Blaise Zabini." He took her hand in his as he brought it to his lips. "And the pleasure is certainly all mine." He flashed her a charming smile. She blushed. "Could I interest you in a latte?"
"Sure." She gushed, her eyes snapping wide open, realizing how desperate that sounded. "I've got a few minutes to spare."
"Of course, a woman as charming as you must have a very hectic schedule."
Blaise gave her a smug grin. He led her down the stairs and summoned the driver. Yes, the Dark Lord would be very pleased he'd sent Blaise Zabini to collect the Key. He had more tact and charm than Malfoy did. And he had already ensnared the Key after only a few minutes.
