Doctor Matt Camden said goodbye to his patient. After she left the room, he walked to the doctor's station to get a drink and went up to the secretaries.

"Hey, Linda?" He asked.

"Yeah, Matt? What's up?" Asked the thin, brunette secretary.

"What time's my next appointment?" He asked. Linda turned to her computer and clicked around for a minute.

"3:30." She said. "First pregnancy check up, so she's a new patient. Says here she's already had the pregnancy confirmed at the hospital, but now she needs a regular doctor, and you were recommended to her.

"It says all that on that little screen?" He asked with suspicion.

"OK OK, so maybe I chatted with her a bit before we hung up. She's a friend of mine."

"Oh, what's her name?" He asked. Linda smiled a bit.

"Um, her name, is..." The phone rang. "Oh Matt I have to get that sorry."

"It's OK." Matt answered. He looked down at his watch. 3:21. He decided to go and start getting ready.

20 minutes later, a nurse walked into Matt's work station.

"Hey Camden! Your patient is ready." She told him.

"OK." He said.

"Oh, the curtain is drawn so she can change into her gown."

"Ok. Thanks." He said. He walked down the hall into the doctor's room and knocked. After waiting a few seconds, he walked in. The curtain was still drawn.

"Hello. I'm Matt Camden. I'm going to be your doctor." He said. "I see that you've had your pregnancy confirmed. The nurse told me that you want to see how far along you are."

"Mmm hmm." Said a voice from the other side, Matt looked down at his clip board and heard the curtain being pulled back.

"OK Doctor Camden." A woman's voice said. Matt looked up. He was shocked to see his wife.

"S—Sarah?" He stuttered.

"Surprise." She said with a little smile.

"Is this a joke?" He asked uncertainly.

"No. I'm pregnant, sweetie."

"Oh. Wow." He said. They hugged.

"So you want to find out how far along? I'd guess a few months just cause you would have noticed, but why don't we do a test."

"Actually, Matt. I know how far along I am." She said.

"Oh! Tell me!" He said. Sarah blushed.

"Matt first understand this: I kept planning to tell you and then something came up. I was going to tell you right when I found out but every time I went to, you were busy or stressed, or you just didn't seem to be in the right mood to find out about a baby. So I started going to Doctor Jones down town and I've been seeing him. I was going to tell you last night too and then everything happened with Sean and Emily. And I wouldn't tell you today right after it all happened, but I can't wait any longer. You have to know." She said quickly. Matt sat down and took her hand in his.

"It's OK Sarah. Just tell me. How far along are you?"

"Six months" Sarah squeeked.

"But wouldn't you be showing?" He asked.

"Pull the curtain." Sarah said. Matt did so. When he turned back around, Sarah took off the paper robe, standing before him in only her bra and underwear.

"Yeah. I'd be showing." She said. Matt's eyes grew wide as he ran his hand over his wife's bare stomach. It had quite bulge."

"How did you hide this?" He asked.

"Baggy shirts."

"Oh." Matt said. His feeling quickly turned to anger.

"Sarah, how could you not tell me? I don't care if I was stressed, I'm supposed to be here for you throughout your pregnancy and you've taken six months of that away from me!" He yelled. Sarah buried her face in her hands and cried.

"I know." She sobbed. "I—just wanted---it to be special. I'm--- sorry." Matt took his wife into his arms.

"It's OK. I didn't mean to yell." He kissed her. "I love you. We're going to have a baby in three months. When are you due?"

"July 2nd. It's April 22, so that's 3 months!" She said.

"Ok. Wait. Do you know the gender?" He asked.

"No. I didn't want to find it out with out you." She said. "That's what I was hoping to do today." Matt nodded his head and moved a curtain over the ultrasound machine.

"OK. Let's do this. Why don't you lay down." He said. He picked Sarah's paper robe up off the ground and tossed it aside. He spread some goop on her stomach and got the ultrasound ready. Finally, he turned it on. A heartbeat was heard around the room, and a little figure appeared on the screen.

"SO?" Sarah asked quickly. Matt smiled.

"Well, come July 2nd, we're going to have another daughter!" He said.

"Yay!" Sarah said happily. "Get over here and kiss me." She said. Matt made sure the curtain was still pulled. He then walked over to his wife and bent over her. They kissed for a few minutes before Matt backed up. Sarah laughed.

"Can you imagine if someone walked in. here I am in no robe, just my bra and underwear, and my doctor and I are making out?" They laughed.

"No, I like my job." He said. "So let's continue." He said. They finished up the appointment finding out that everything was going well and that Sarah was healthy.

"Thanks babe!" She told Matt.

"No problem. I'll be home at 7." He said. They kissed one last time before Sarah disappeared out the door. Matt sat down on the rolling chair and thought about what just happened. He was going to be a father again, in just three months.
