My Dear Sister, The Queen
---------------------------
Author's Note: This is a short 1-chapter story that I'm writing about Alfred (yuck) And his obsession with his twin Alexia. R&R, no flames, only constructive criticism.
Disclaimer: I don't own Resident Evil, Capcom does.
-----------------------
"My lovely sister, why have you left me all alone?
It doesn't really matter to me anymore; you're always by my side.
Together, Alexia, we will rule all who are unworthy to your greatness.
You my dear are a genius with unmatched beauty, a true queen.
Our father, was however unsuccessful.
But you, no, you will succeed our family.
I must not allow the unclean to see you my dear Alexia.
Your beauty will remain forever perfect, unfaultered".
Alfred laughed at his own thoughts, his dream was to be completed, and no one would get in his way. He looked up at the tank in front of him, which contained his sister. She had been there for over fifteen years, and waiting for so long drove Alfred to insanity. He loved his sister too much, for his own greed he needed her.
"Alexia, I have good news: your time left in that retched tank are over.
We'll be together again, soon... very soon indeed.
Joined, we will restore our family.
Soon, all will fear the Ashford name.
They try to ruin us, those rats...
When you awake my dear sister, they will fall."
Alfred turned to leave when the tank exploded. From the ruins and shattered glass stepped his object of affection, Alexia, fully completed. The veronica virus flowed through her veins, and screamed for control. Alfred smiled evilly towards his sister, and walked over to her. Admiring the beauty of her completion, he touched her face. Surprisingly her skin burned his fingers, to the point they were about to catch fire.
"Alexia?"
She stepped close to her brother, now face-to-face; she was no closer than an inch away from him. He looked at her directly, wanting to know what she could have planned; but she showed no emotion. As he drew closer to her face, pain struck Alfred in the chest. It was a sharp pain, but strangely enough it didn't register in his mind at that moment. He studied his sister's face, looking for any sign of discomfort or angry, but found none.
Alexia stepped back away from him. Withdrawing her hand from inside his chest caused a glob of blood to be released, splashing onto the floor. She smiled cruelly at the mortified look on her brother's pale face. He looked down at the gapping hole in his chest, then down at the puddle of blood across the floor. Alfred raised his gaze up form the floor; he met his sister's cold stare briefly just before collapsing on the floor.
Alexia looked down at her sibling bleeding out on the ground and snickered. As she walked around his body, the music box tune their family grew up on started to play. The piano melody filled the spacious room, and a smile painted across her face.
"...There was a friendly, but naïve king,
Who wed a very nasty queen.
The king was loved, but the queen was feared.
'Till one day strolling in his court,
An arrow pierced the kind king's heart.
He lost his life and his lady love..."
"That's correct my dearest brother..."
