~*~*~*~*~* One Month Later! ~*~*~*~*~*~

Annie rushed around her home in a flurry of excitement. Mary and Carlos were coming home for a visit in just one hour! She had everything perfect...18 table settings, plus four baby seats for Will, Luke, Maddy, and Chloe. She had the kid table set up nicely for Emily, Sean, Rachel, and Ethan, complete with their own water jug to pour, carefully, themselves! Yes, everything was in order. With a sigh, Annie flopped onto the sofa. She drifted off to sleep. She awoke soon after to Eric standing over her.

"Annie? Annie wake up." He said quietly.

"What?" Annie mumbled.

"Ruthie and Peter are here." He said. Annie turned around to see her daughter and son in law standing behind her.

"Hey!" She said, suddenly awake. She got up and hugged them both. Before long, Simon and Cecilia arrived with Rachel and Ethan. Sam and David came downstairs to greet their older siblings. Annie looked at her watch.

"7:15! I wonder where the Camdens and Kinkirks are!" She said.

"They both have brand new babies. Cut them a little slack." Said Eric.

"Good point." Agreed Annie. A few minutes later, the bell rang and Lucy and Kevin came in. Everyone oohed and ahhed over the triplets. Will and Tyler were wearing matching tan pants and little green vests, in Kevin's arms, and Maddy was in a cute green dress with a tiny bow in her hair in Lucy's arms.

"Let me hold my nephew!" Ruthie cooed as she took Will from Kevin. Cecilia immediately took Maddy, leaving Kevin with just Luke, and Lucy empty-handed. She greeted everyone as the doorbell rang again, and a frazzled looking Sarah and Matt came in the door. Sean's hair was all over the place as he hyperly ran around the room screaming. Emily and little Chloe were both crying.

"Sean!" Screamed Sarah. The little boy continued to run. Matt ran after him and grabbed him by the wrist when he caught up. He scooped the little boy up into his arms and scolded him quietly. Annie knelt down.

"Emmy? What's wrong?" She asked, holding out her arms. Emily came and let her grandmother hug her.

"Chloe won't be quiet!" She sobbed. "And Sean is being weird!"

"Oh, there there." Annie said, patting the little girl on the back. "Why don't you go play with Rachel! She's over there with Aunt Lucy's old Barbies."

"OK!" Emily said happily and skipped off to go play. Sarah came over and hugged Annie, Chloe still crying in her arms. Sarah looked as if she hadn't slept in weeks.

"I'm sorry!" Sarah told her, yelling over Chloe. "Chloe hates loud noises, which Sean makes constantly, and Emily hates the crying and how her brother is acting! It took 20 minutes just to get them all out the door!" It was then that Matt put Sean down again, and he started tearing around the room again, which set Chloe into another screaming session. Annie smiled at the tired couple. She reached out and took Chloe, swinging her granddaughter back and forth in her arms. Sarah grabbed Sean this time.

"Come here!" She said angrily, lifting the kicking, screaming four- year-old in to her arms. "Matt!" Matt came over and took their son.

"Sean!" He said in a low tone. "Come here." He looked at Sarah while trying to keep Sean in his arms. "I'm going to take him outside for a talk." He said. Sarah nodded. When they were gone, Sarah collapsed onto the sofa. Annie came and sat next to her, holding the now quiet Chloe.

"Annie, I'm so sorry." She said again. "Sean has been crazy lately, trying to get attention from everyone. He thinks that we all only care about the baby!"

"Don't worry about it. Do you want to know something funny?" She asked. Sarah nodded.

"Matt did the same thing when we brought Mary home. He spent more time in time out and being lectured than he did being with us!"

"So THAT'S where Sean got it from. His father!" Sarah said with a laugh.

"Yep." Annie said. "Where are Sean and Matt, anyway?" She asked, looking around.

"Matt took him outside." She said.

"Ah. Now that's the serious lecture when you have to go outside. Matt got quite a few of those!" Annie laughed. Sarah nodded.

"Like father, like son." She said. Matt came back in a few minutes later, holding Sean's hand. The little boy's face was tear stained and he walked with his head down.

"Yep, like father like son." Annie said. "Chloe's asleep."

"I have her carrier. Can I put her upstairs?"

"Sure. Put her in our room." Annie said. Sarah thanked her and carefully took the baby upstairs. When she came down a few minutes later, Mary and Carlos were there. They were enamored with the triplets.

"Hey guys!" Sarah said warmly. The couple turned around.

"Sarah!" Mary cried, hugging her sister in law tightly. "Where's my new niece?"

"Upstairs sleeping." Sarah said happily. "Silence at last." Mary laughed.

"Sounds good to me." She said. Annie called the group to the tables where they ate a feast of Steak, rolls, jam, and much more. Annie had out done herself. Sarah went to get Chloe about half way through the dinner when she heard her crying upstairs. After dinner, the whole group gathered on the sofa for a family picture. Annie set up the timer and ran into the picture.

"Cheese!" Chorused the children. There was a bright flash, and the moment was captured forever. Annie looked around at the crowd around her and smiled. She couldn't have asked for a better family.

The End

A/N: I hope you liked it! Please review! Also, I'll be doing the e-mail group again. For those of you who this is the first story of mine that you've read, I have a group that I send e-mails to about my next story coming up. I send updates about how it's coming, AND I'll send the first chapter of my next story to that group a day in advance to it's release on fan fiction. If you would like to be in that group, tell me in your review that you would like to, and leave your e-mail address. Those of you who are already in the group will be kept in, so there is no need to tell me again. If you would like to be taken out, tell me in your review (and tell me your e-mail address) and I'll take you out. Thanks! Look for the epilogue in the next chapter!
