***Hope the chapters have been better lately...I've been updating quickly in this story....I'm so proud of myself.....***

Ginny Malfoy sat on her bed and tried to concentrate on the magazine before her. After a few minutes she gave up any pretence of being interested in the maternity clothing in the magazine and thought about Hermione.

She had been so pale, and what did she want to tell her? Ginny had hoped that Hermione was finally back together with Ron, but knew that it was quite unlikely. Hermione had never really shown any interest in Ron after they broke up a few years ago, deciding it would be for the best if they stayed friends. And anyway, Ron had gone off on some special Auror business abroad, Hermione wouldn't have been able to see him.

She sighed and turned to her side, examining her stomach for any suspicious looking bumps. She was only in her second month, but she suspected that she was getting a bit rounder. Soon she would be like a beach ball with arms and legs. Ginny didn't mind so much, but she wished that thinking about the baby didn't make her think of him. And before she could stop herself she fell back to that time only 3 months ago.

Ginny was helping to decorate the house for Ron, Harry and Hermione's successful completion of Auror training. She was alone, her mother and father had gone out to pick up some extra things for the party, and the rest of her brothers were to keep the three occupied until party time. Ginny put some music on, and was just debating the effect of pink streamers on Harry and Ron's banner, when someone knocked on the door. She sighed and went to go open the door. Probably Fred having forgotten something.

She opened the door and there stood Lucius Malfoy. Ginny tried to hide her surprise, but failed. Even though Draco had become rather friendly with them all after the defeat of Lord Voldemort, the older Malfoy had always kept his distance, and Ginny suspected that he disapproved of his son's relationship with the rest of them.

Lucius stared at the youngest Weasley and wondered when she had gotten so good looking. He tried to remember why he had come, and admonished himself severely when he simply could not. He shook his head slightly and looked up at the slim young girl before him, it didn't matter what he had come for, he had a better idea. He smiled at Ginny and stepped inside.

"I have a proposal for you."

***The flashback isn't over and I'll continue it next chapter.....for all the people that seem to have serious problems with this story let me tell you something. I don't often write stories like this....I felt like writing it this was so I did..........I'm not forcing you to read it, and as much as I appreciate constructive criticism, blatantly slandering my story or saying that you don't like Draco/Hermione matches doesn't speak highly of you. If you don't want to read the story don't.....if you have advise I would love to hear it but please don't waste my time telling me that you don't like the story because the theme isn't to your preference. I am not forcing you to read this story. Anyways, keep the reviews coming and I'm very thankful for some of the advice you've given me....I've never really wrote a story in this style, and you guyz are a BIG help***
