***Flashback continued***
"No."
"But Daddy, he said he'd pay me 50 galleons an hour!" Ginny protested. Arthur Weasely, who had probably never had an extra 50 galleons in his whole life shook his head firmly.
"I don't want you working for that evil man." Ginny sat down and stared at the wall, fighting back tears. She had never like Lucius Malfoy, but this was an incredible opportunity. To be able to redecorate a house as old as the Malfoy's would give her a big boost in the community and for Malfoy to show so much confidence in her, though she was just beginning in the industry was extraordinary.
Molly Weasely regarded her daughter sadly from the corner. She disliked Lucius Malfoy just as much as her husband, but 50 galleons were 50 galleons, and she knew how much her daughter needed that money not to mention respect, that would come with the job.
"Arthur perhaps it wouldn't be so terrible to let her work there. After all he has seemed to change his ways after the War." Mrs. Weasely said timidly. Mr. Weasley spun on his heel and glared.
"You know how I feel about this Molly." He said in a low voice. Mrs. Weasely's eyes flashed at being talked to like a child.
"I know. I know exactly how you feel, but that doesn't change the fact that this is an amazing opportunity for Ginny. We have no right to bring our own personal feelings into this." She said firmly.
"But...I- you- I...." Sputtered Mr. Weasely. Mrs. Weasely's shook her head gently and put her hand on his. Mr. Weasely sighed, and turned to his daughter.
"I suppose it will be all right. But if that man makes one wrong move, or if you feel threatened in any way, you leave right away. And I don't want you to be in any room alone with him, you hear?"
Ginny nodded happily, and threw he arms around her father.
"Oh Daddy, thank you. You won't regret this, I promise."
***Don't get impatient now guyz. The flashback will continue a bit longer, to clear things up.........but I think I'll keep the Draco/Hermione thing out of it. R&R***
