Enchanted: A Willow Spin-Off Series
Author: PJ
Episode 1: "Forever In Your Heart"
Prelude
The grounds around the castle were in a dead silence. No wind howling, or trees creaking, or fences moaning. Not even the occasional cricket or bird. Everything was completely still and silent.
Suddenly a strong breeze began to pick up. Leaves smacked against the castle walls are the air swirled around. Then a brilliant silver light appeared in the air. It expanded, glowing brighter as it did so. And then the leg of a demon stepped from the newly formed portal. Another leg followed. Then two arms. Finally a monstrous head, with four oval eyes, a long pointed jaw with three rows of teeth. A long, forked tongue licked at calloused lips, as they portal closed behind the demon and it entered our dimension.
Walking across the grass, the demon reached the walkway leading to the castle's front doors. Stepping onto the cobblestone, it began to walk towards the castle doors. As it grew nearer it sniffed at the air, hissing wildly. Finally it arrived at the door.

Kennedy and Willow were fast asleep. It was just after 4 am, and the castle was dark. Suddenly the witch began to stir, rolling over and nearly falling off the bed. With a small yawn she opened her eyes.
"Oh my god," Willow whispered lowly to herself. Closing her eyes slightly, she watched through her eyelashes as four eyes peered through her bedroom doorway. Then they eyes turned away, as the creature shuffled down the hall. Willow waited a moment before sitting up. Quickly she turned to Kennedy, shaking the girl.
"Willow," Kennedy whispered through shut eyes. "What do you-"
Willow silenced the girl by placing a finger over her mouth. Kennedy frowned, a questioning gaze in her eyes. Willow nodded towards the door.
"What is it," Kennedy whispered, moving Willow's finger.
"I don't know. There was something out there. I think it was a demon."
"WHAT?"
"Shhh!"
Suddenly there was a crash in the hallway. It sounded like glass. Willow quickly got to her feet and ran into the hallway. Slayers were all exiting their rooms and staring at the broken window at the end of the hall.
