This one is quite old. It's short yet cute. Please R&R... Thanks.

I sit there, watching him sketch the landscape. He sketches it with such precision. As I walk over to him, I think... will the fire within him ever come out? I've seen his happiness, anger, and depression, but within his depression, I've never seen him cry.
Since his mom died he hasn't talked about her. He's all alone since he's an only child and his father always abused him. His friends are gone for now and won't be back for a month. The only person he truly trusts is me. I feel so awful, I mean, for you mom to die... that terrible.
(enters a flashback)
I'm really glad I found him that day at the hospital. He was crying. He had just walked out of the room where his mother was put and as I walked by, I asked him, "Are you ok?" and he said in a heart-breaking way, "No" and fainted. After the doctors took him away and put him in a room, I went to visit him. The doctors told me he hadn't awakened from his sleep. As I walked towards his bed he opened his eyes and said, "Are you an angel?" After I kissed him, I called to the doctors that he was all right.
(exits the flashback)
When I sit down next to him, he looks at me with his green eyes and fire-like hair. He sits closer and hugs me and for the first time in my time with him, a tear runs down his cheek.
