So, I started another one! Please review and tell me what ya
think.
Hit The Ground Running Prologue-
The siren woke us up sometime in the middle of the night. The members of my adopted family and I sat up groggily. That siren signaled trouble. The soldiers had come here a month after I arrived half starved. After I had been welcomed into this village, this family. Now I might have to leave again. I stood up and looked around. Only two people were left in our hut. "Come on." Nenet, my adopted sister, said to me. "Remember, they told us to meet them in the big field, by the abandoned mine." My adopted mother said to us. They left the house. "But I've been there." I thought out loud. "It's just a dead end. They say it's A hiding place, but I know better than to trust the soldiers." I looked outside. 'Midnight?' I guessed. I looked at my glow-in-the-dark- watch '12:01', it read. 'Close.' I watched the villagers running to the cave "Like sheep to a slaughter." I shifted my gaze towards the voice on the other side of the room. I instantly got lost in the most intense eyes I'd ever seen. Ruby red eyes.
So what did you think? I know it's short, it will get longer. If you like it and review anyways. Just in case you're confused, the main character is in a village that lives old-fashioned. Like, in the old days. Just thought I'd clear that up. If you liked this one, please check out Hiei Goes To The Shrink, my other fanfic. Thanks.
