Disclaimer: I don't own the story Snow White wishes I did! But don't, this may also be like a Beauty and the Beast story, don't own it either.

Median

In her bedroom was a girl about the age of seventeen who had silver hair and violet eyes with very fair skin. Her name was Median Fay, she was staring at herself in a mirror she thought of herself as an ugly beast, but yet she had the courage to look at herself. She had no brothers or sisters nor no parents she was alone. Her mother died when she was four and her father left her when she was thirteen, he had no apparent reason to leave! But he did without question.

Median had one friend; his name was Bryden he was eighteen who had brothers and sisters with parents. He had black curly hair and the deepest blue eyes she had ever seen, since he was always outside he was somewhat tan. Bryden spent most of his time with Median, he knew her ever since she was thirteen and they've been friends ever since…He always liked her, but Bryden was the shy type of guy and never told her she was beautiful. (That will change)

Median lived by herself in the same house from which she was born. All the girls in the village made fun of her because she had no parents, and because of her odd appearance, the village girls either had blonde or brown hair, blue or brown eyes. Very few had red or black hair and green or hazel eyes, but they still fit in. Median was the only one with weirdest appearance that is the number one reason she looks at herself constantly asking the magic mirror

" Mirror, mirror on the wall who is the fairest one of all?"

Of course the mirror would not answer, so she gave up once again.

*Knock Knock* Median ran to the door, opened it and standing there was Bryden (like always)

" Hello Bryden" Median said happily.

" Hey! Median would you uh…" Bryden hit his hand on his head.

" Would you like to go out with me?" said Bryden giving Median a reassuring smile and blushed he always wanted to ask her.

Median blushed and giggled.

" Okay Bryden no more jokes!" then she noticed one of his hands were behind his back she curiously asked, "What are you hiding?"

Bryden blushed again " Answer my question, yes or no?"

Median looked at him in confusement " Your serious?"

" Yes Median! Just answer" in his voice she noticed he was getting inpatient, she gave it some thought for about five minutes. Looked at him awkward and replied "Well I guess"

Bryden gave one of his cocky smiles and out from behind his back was a dozen roses, Median gasped in surprise then hugged him, she then took the roses and smelled them contently she stopped…looked at Bryden " Do you think I'm beautiful?"

"Of course! Why wouldn't I?" Bryden questioned.

She rubbed her arm, and moved from one foot to the other.

" My magic mirror doesn't say"

Bryden shook his head.

" Median stop relying on that mirror, haven't you given up?"

" No!" yelled Median.

" Okay I'm sorry don't get all hyped up" he said frantically, then kissed her cheek and left.

Median stood there in that same spot for awhile shocked of what he did, then closed the door and through her roses on the floor and ran to the mirror then asked

" Mirror, mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all?" this time the mirror did respond

" You an innocent young lady thought yourself ugly, because of what people thought of you, but now you know that a girl so different and unique can be the most beautiful of them all if viewed through eyes that expect more"

The voice faded away those enchanting words mad an effect on Median for she looked at herself not in bravery, but willingly and decided she didn't need a mirror or anyone to tell her she was beautiful for true beauty lies within, So she ran to pick up her roses and smelled them once again.

This story has a moral it's an easy moral…figure it out!
