Forbidden Kiss by an Angel
"I told you that I would always be with you..." Angel whispered, his warm words tickling her ear, causing chills to crawl up and down her back, as he came up from behind her.
"I didn't mean to ---." Buffy initiated to whisper until he raised his cold finger to her smooth lips. Turning around, she stared into his deep brown eyes; the questions and concealed secrets of his dreadful past unseen, safely hidden as a souvenir of the innocent and untainted lives seized by his hand.
"To kill me?" Angel mumbled Buffy susceptible to the distress and fury in his words. Feeling her heart being consumed by the good times lost. Warm tears fill in the corners of her hazel eyes, obviously torn by his death.
"Angel...." She muddled, watching his face change to the crazed demon that lied beneath his tortured shell.
"What's wrong Buff, what did you expect --- your lover that you sent hell for eternity to come back and still love you?" Angelus asked with evil clearly sound in his voice. Running his tongue over the fangs within his mouth, he clenched his fists to his sides.
"I had too...." Buffy explained, as a warm wet tear rolled down her cheek. Grasping her long blonde hair sternly, he pulled on it revealing the smooth peachy skin on her neck. Caressing her rosy cheek with his cold blue lips, she whimpered loudly, her arms numb and legs stuck to the floor beneath her, she was unable to move.
"And the funny thing is.... You actually thought I loved you..." Her heart racing, she felt his cold hand clutch her arm. The throbbing pain in her arm could have never compared to the agony she felt deep inside. Instantly, with one quick jerk, he pulled her so close to him he felt her heart beat against his chest. With a short glance at her frightened face, he wanted to reminisce the moment he had waited so long for. Not wanting to wait any longer, he sank his sharp white fangs into her neck, puncturing her soft delicate skin. The warm red blood of the slayer running through his veins, the memory and unbelievable strength and power was missed but never forgotten. The pain was something Buffy had never felt before; her hands shook and legs became weak underneath her. The light dimming around her, as she struggled every moment for her next breath.
Draining her blood she slowly began to drift, letting go of her frail petite body, it hit with a thud on the floor at his feet. "Wow! I forgot how good it feels!" Angel yelled, as the slayer's blood dribbled down his pale chin. "Its really sad that it had to end this way Buff, and I feel really bad about this ---- okay, I'm done!" Angelus said, with an evil snicker. Clapping, he jumped gleefully over her body and headed for the door. Tears running down her face, her skin cold and blue.
Her heart is slowing now, the world fading, her long battle is almost over. Taking her last deep breath she whispered in a raspy voice, "I l-love you- u..." Her body limp, her hand fell open causing the Claddagh ring, which she had been holding ever so tightly, to fall from her palm onto the wooden floor.
