(Inside Raven's mind)

"Let me at her! Let me at her!"

Red repeated as she struggled to get free from her fellow emotions. She pulled and tugged as hard as she could but their grips outnumbered her strength.

"Grrrrrr...Let...me...go!"

"No!" Brave said while trying to restrain Red, "We have to maintain control over our powers! You don't want the whole Dr. Light thing to happen again!"

"Who says I don't want it to happen again!?"

"I did! Besides we don't know who would get seriously injured if we let you go!"

"Who cares if someone gets injured!"

"I do!"

All the emotions turned to their left. Red stopped wriggling. Pinkie stepped out to face Red. They stared at one another. The rest of the emotions took a step back. Red walked up to her opposite emotion. "Excuse me?" she started, "But I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK!!!!"

"Well you, like, should."

"Well, I don't."

Red turned to face all of her emotions. She grinned. She grinned a grin so evil that it would make the devil himself pee his pants and sprint home crying to his mommy. Gray started to sob uncontrollably. Red turned in the direction of the sob.

"Will you just SHUT UP!!!"

She glared at her timid comrade. All of Gray's body shrunk to the size of a printer. Red cleared her throat.

"Like I said before, I don't care who gets injured. It's my job! I LOVE to injure people! It is my..."

"What about Beast Boy?" Brave asked. Red turned around.

"Who?"

"You know, the cute green midget with a sense of humor," Pinkie replied, hands folded together and resting on her right cheek. Everybody stared at her.

"What?!"

Everybody turned their attention back to Red.

"Oh, him. Still, I don't care."

"Then why do you always hold that lighter in your hand?" Pinkie asked, smiling. (for those of you who don't know, the lighter is the symbol of faith in R/BB)

"I-I like lighters."

"You know we use them for our Raven & BB campaign," Brave said, whipping out a lighter of her own. Everyone else followed suit. Red sighed.

"Fine. I love him."

Brave walked up to her and rested a hand on her cloaked shoulder.

"Don't worry, we all do."

Pinkie raised her lighter.

"I will always keep the faith." ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Raven's ocean blue eyes shot open like a bullet. The wax candles that surrounded her glowed a ghostly yellow. The bright orange flames danced and flickered throughout the darkened room. Her legs unfolded from their Indian style position and carried her to the door.

She opened it. Terra was patiently waiting outside.

"Hey. Sorry for getting angry at you and stuff."

"Whatever."

"Look, whatever your problem is, DEAL with it. We're on the same team and we need to get al..."

The tower's alarm suddenly went off. Robin's voice was heard over the intercom.

"Terra! Raven! Report to the main room!"

Both females sprinted out of Raven's room and to the main room.

Fire was spread everywhere. There was no sign of a fireman within a hundred miles from Gotham City. There was a crash, a roar, and a shriek for help. The monster that was terrorizing the city had the tail of a snake, the body of a lion, and the head of a tiger. There was an echoing thud. The creature looked around.

"Play with fire, you're gonna get burned."

The creature projected a terrorizing roar.

"Titans Go!"

The six titans went to different sections of the monster.

Snap! Snap! Snap!

The snake tried to bite Raven's hand off as she was throwing little shards of black energy at it. The creature writhed, squirmed, and roared in agony as the black icicles collided with his furry back. Red, sticky blood seeped down it. Raven heard a deafening crack. She looked at Terra.

Terra was levitating a huge piece of rocky ground. The piece of concrete was now floating over the monster's tiger-like head. She threw the concrete down and knocked out the creature. 'I could of done that,' Raven thought to herself.

"Nice one Terra," Beast Boy congratulated her. They embraced each other. Raven could feel all of her emotions raging in her body. Her heart and brain were bursting to flames. Smoke was projected from her ears and flames danced in her eyes. Her nails dug deeper into her fists. Her face turned a bright brick red.

But at the same time, her heart shrunk in despair. Tears filled her eyes and she felt her stomach sink. Her lips trembled, as did her fists. She decided to fly back to the tower. And so she did.
