"Eriol? Are you okay?" the voice of one of his guardians made him look up. He knew that he's not okay, but he must tell her he is. "Why Nakuru I am fine" he tried to utter those words.

Nakuru shook her head in dismay. "Eriol! I am tired of this! Go march up to her and tell her!" she slammed the study room shut making an impression she's mad, although she hid a mischievous grin behind everything. Sighing in defeat: emotion and Nakuru's words, he took his coat and left. He did not want to meet her, because he was not ready. Instead of taking a turn for the Daidouji mansion, he walked the other way towards the park.

He needed some thinking and a quiet time alone. However, assuming he would be alone he saw a figure sitting on the swings. A figure he'd recognized immediately. 'Shit not now' he muttered.

Tomoyo's head bowed down as she slowly rocked the swings. "My my...what a lovely sight" Eriol said making her look up. She gasped in surprise, "Hiiragizawa-kun!"

"Hello Daidouji-san, mind if I seat with you?" he asked holding down his feelings that will soon gush out. "Uh—sure" There was a long silence among the two teenagers. Tomoyo gazed up at the sky never noticing a pair of sapphire eyes watching her. 'She's really beautiful' he thought. "Daidouji-san, have you ever loved someone?" the look on Tomoyo obviously shocked and to Eriol as well. That was not a good start for a conversation. "Well, I-I" "Never mind. I'm sorry for asking, I have no place to even ask that." He wanted to erase that, so he cut her off. But Tomoyo shook her head. She wanted to give him a sign that he love someone, him in fact. "I have or I do have one" she said it in a haste, feeling heat rise to her cheeks. "Really?" Eriol got a nod. "Have you?...Oh my, of course you have. Kaho..." Eriol felt a strong tinge hit him. The mention of Kaho's name hurt and will forever scar him, but Kaho has no more place in his heart. For he found the girl he's been wanting...a girl named Daidouji Tomoyo. The friend he'd never realized he's been secretly longing. "Forget her" sounding rather confident, he turned his body to meet with Tomoyo "You know the feeling of warmth? Like two soft lips press against each other?" Tomoyo's eyes widened as he felt his face nearer and nearer towards hers. She could only mutter an 'ugk" almost losing her self-control she stepped away from the swings and started to walk away from Eriol. Grabbing her right arm he twisted her body to meet with his. However, her body was slow to react and she lost her balance. Falling into his arms, she thought of him hugging her before like this, but never in her imagination could she feel it right now. "To-"he could no longer continue. He raised her face and slowly pressed his lips to hers. The feeling was warm and sweet like honey. He didn't want to let go and so did she. The simple caresses turned into a passionate kiss.

Soon they broke it off, both gasping her breath. "Tomoyo, I'm sorry but I have to admit to you. I love you. Rejection is fine as long as you know that there will always be an Eriol Hiiragizawa here...always." He hugged her tighter thinking she'd slap him and run off. 'Please don't go' After a while, Tomoyo soon looked up to him; his eyes closed, and kissed him again. "I love you too" she whispered.

The sunset entered the two lovers' surroundings. Oblivious to the world, two lovers sat on the grass watching the nature's beauty.
