I do not own any characters from Cowboy Bebop. This is my first fic (if you really want to call it one), so don't flame me. This is Faye's POV when she realizes that Spike is going off to fight Vicious. Note: This is NOT SxF.

Reality
Faye's POV:
I could hear them talking to each other, Spike and Jet. Spike planned to fight Vicious one last time, and I knew it. I could hear him walking closer towards where I was, and that's when I pulled my gun out, and aimed it at his head.
"Where are you going…? Why are you going?" I asked him. I was angry at him, angry that he was leaving, and yet sad at the same time…He turned his head, and looked at me. "You told me once to forget the past, 'cause it doesn't matter…but you're the one still tied to the past, Spike!" That's what I told him, and he looked at me with those eyes, moving in closer, he said that one of his eyes was a fake; that he lost it in an accident, he told me that one of them saw the past while the other saw the present. That was the first time I actually noticed; his eyes were different colors.
What was I supposed to say? What was I supposed to do? I tried to stop him, and before I knew it, he was walking away from me. I pointed the handgun upwards in the air, and fired five rounds into the roof of the Bebop, hoping Spike would turn around.
The Bebop was the only family I had…the only family that still existed, and it was slowly tearing apart in front of my eyes…there was nothing I could do to stop it. Spike was a brother to me, even though we fought…Jet was like a father…and even Edward and Ein were part of the family.
I could hear the haunting, echoing sounds of his shoes against the floor slowly begin to disappear as he walked further and further away from me. I could feel my body tremble as tears streamed down my face; I started crying…wanting someone to tell me that everything was going to be ok. Maybe…this is all a bad dream…maybe I'll wake up in my bedroom somewhere with a smile on my face. Maybe this isn't the reality…maybe I'm wrong...
See you, space cowboy…
