Goku sat up slowly, rubbing his eyes. "Wha...what happened?" he asked himself. The last thing I remember was Gojyo swerving...wait a minure, we were in a forest!" Spining around on the hot, dry sand, he looked for the others. They were all still knocked out, spred eagled on the ground. "Hey guys, wake up," he yelled, shaking Gojyo, who was nearest. "Wake up, kappa, we've got a problem and it's your fault!" "Huh?" the pink-haired man asked, groaning, "what happened?" He sat up, then opened his eyes. "What the, where the, are we?" "I don't know," Goku said, just get off your lazy butt and help me with these guys. Sanzo!" the youkai yelled, kneeling down and shaking the monk's shoulder. "Sanzo, wake up!" "Get off, you stupid monkey," Sanzo said, shoving the golden-eyed boy aside. "Hakkai, nap-time's over," Gojyo said, shoving the green-eyed man with his foot. "You too, Hikaru," he added, pushing the tiny dragon with his boot. "Oh, I'm sorry," the brunette said, sitting up with a pleasent smile on his face. "I must have..." he trailed off, seeing their surroundings. "Uh, how long was I asleep?" he asked. "Weren't we in a forest just a little while ago?" Everyone was silent except Goku (big suprise). "Ya, where are we? And what are we gonna eat? We don't have any food!" "Well Goku," Hakkai said, still smiling patiently, "I'm not sure, but that girl probably knows." He pointed to the right where a girl of no more then 15 stood, one hand on her hip. She was tall, with sun-bleached blond hair and eyes like ice. She wore a short skirt of animal skin and a light cotton shirt, the white material unbuttoned to her chest. Over her shirt, she wore an open vest, matching her light brown skirt, and brown leather boots with metal spurs glinting in the sun. A white cowboy hat completed her ansemble. "What are ya'll doing out here?" she asked, "and what the heck are you wearing?" She added, her hand slowly moving to grasp one of the two guns that hung from her belt. Upon seeing that, Sanzo immediatly reached for his own gun. "I wouldn't do that if I were you," she said. Sanzo looked back at her and saw both guns drawn, pointing straight at him, unwavering. He saw no fear in her eyes. "Throw it on the ground," she said, "then kick it over here." He did, disgusted with himself for being outwitted by some little twerp. "H-hey, what are you doing?" asked the naiive brown-haired boy. "Right now I'm gonna have you are and why you're here, before I have to put a bullet through one of your heads."
