Summary: Sydney is in search of the truth. Does that truth include Sark?
Time line: References to The Telling...AU
Ship: SARKNEY
Disclaimer: I have unfortunately JUST sold Alias, so it isn't mine. And it should be known that I am making LOADS of money writing this...too bad its monopoly money huh?
Sydney Bristow had never been one for accessories. Sure, there was the occasional watch or bracelet that she just put on for the hell of it and there was that necklace that had belonged to her mother that she hadn't taken off for fifteen years, but never has an outfit revolved around the accessory. Rings got in the way of her job and Sydney had basically decided she had overdosed on jewelry. Sure the CIA can give her a stunning diamond necklace and earring set that can take pictures or something for a mission, but they never could give her and ENTIRE outfit. She was always a prostitute.
Waking up in Hong Kong, probably was the worst thing that could have happened in her entire life. Compartmentalizing was part of her job, she dealt with Danny's death, learning that SD-6 wasn't the CIA, hiding the growing feelings for Vaughn, learning Francie was murdered and doubled. The list can go on forever. Sydney was sick of her job. Waking up to find out that the potential love of your life, the man where you worked so hard to be with, was married to someone else. Waking up to find that, as much as you want to, you can't be mad that he's married.
------------------
FLASHBACK:
"Vaughn, why are you wearing that ring?"
"I could ask you the same question."
END FLASHBACK
Waking up to find that two years of your life are gone is something people can claim the ultimate nightmare. Sydney Bristow calls it life.
I know that this chapter was REALLY short, but I figured, if people liked it then I would continue. Please review.
