"Land!"
"Land?"
"Land!"

At that moment Sparrow and Turner were trying to figure out how to get off of the island and onto the Black Pearl. Just then, Turner spotted a large ship in the distance.
"A huge ship! It's getting closer!" yelled Turner while hopping up and down to get the ship's attention, as if they could even see them from that distance.
"Will, that's not a ship, but I suppose it will do." A sense of triumph in the two soon vanished into severe bewilderment as the sinking rowboat hit the sand and the passengers got out. Severe bewilderment then gave way to pure horror as the passengers were none other than Anna, Sasha, Alex, and Florida.
Turner promptly screamed and passed out. Sparrow deduced that Florida and Turner were related in some way, although Florida's whole visage hinted that he was not quite right in the head.
Anna was the first to speak. "Jack, how dare you!!! But I still love you anyway. Which is why, for your benefit I will handcuff you to me."
"I think the more pressing matter is how we will get off of this island?" suggested Sasha.
"Is there a pay phone around here?" asked Florida. Alex whacked him on the head.
"This is an island, dummy!!!!!"
Is that so? Well the narrator says that there is a pay phone on this island, so there!
"Look, a pay phone!"
"And a gift shop!" exclaimed the now awake Will Turner.
Oh yea, and that too. They have really cute t-shirts.
"What sizes do they come in?" asked Sasha.
One size fits all.
"Okay, who cares? Here Sparrow, here's a quarter." said Alex, handing Sparrow a quarter. Sasha was busy trying to keep Anna, who was foaming at the mouth, away from Jack.
"Does she have rabies?" asked a bewildered Florida.
"No, that's her way of showing affection." said Alex. Then, turning to Sparrow she asked, "Who are you calling?"
Sparrow looked sheepish. "My mother."

"Ma......could you...no mom, I'm not asking for money.....no, I didn't sink the ship!......Could you come pick us up?....What?.....Of course not..." At this point everyone could hear his mother's voice cascading loudly from the telephone.
"...You lousy son......nothing but trouble, you b-............the best years of my life.........and this is how you repay me!............I hope you have a nice girlfriend now" Anna perked up at this sentence, "...not like those ugly........and Scarlett and that other..........Okay, I'll come pick you up."
"..I love you, mom." Sparrow turned red in the face and was especially tough and manly in behavior for the rest of the afternoon to make up for this remark.
At six p.m. a bright, majestic white ship with the words "The White Pearl" emblazoned on the side, arrived and set anchor near the shore. From a small sailboat came a short, middle aged woman with dark curly hair and glasses.
"Still wearing eyeliner, I see. I know I shouldn't have let you play with my make up when you were little. At least you didn't turn out to be a drag queen like that Norrington man."
"He's not a drag queen." said Anna.
"Whatever. Anyway, let me take a good look at you, Jackie-boy."
"Ahem. Mother, these are my...um...friends."
Everyone gave Mrs. Sparrow an awkward smile.
"Land?"
